Join Shaya for Passover Seder on Friday, April 7th. We will be serving our Passover menu in the main dining room. Our special Passover menu will include a traditional Seder Plate served with wood-fired matzo, Braised Short Rib, and Flourless Chocolate Tort. The menu is only available with a reservation and the deadline to book is Monday, April 3rd. $65 per person not including tax and gratuity.

OMG! We feel so lucky to have dined at Shaya. The service was excellent! The food was fabulous. We had the cauliflower hummus, which was the best ever. The combination of carmelized onions and cauliflower was amazing. The hummus portion was very large and comes with the best, fresh pita I have ever had. There is no charge for the pita. We also had the salmon entree and the orange blossom gelato, all delicious. This was one of the BEST meals we had in New Orleans.

Fantastic food and excellent service. This place is a real gem. We always find something new we live. Favorites include cauliflower hummus, halloumi, and the salmon, but you really can’t go wrong!

I’ve been coming to New Orleans for 40+ years and now will never miss a dinner at Shaya. Pleasant evening and we could sit in courtyard. Turned out to be happy hour. Wine, Lebanese red blend and hummus were perfect and half price. Slow cooked lamb cooked with date molasses was spectacular. And did mention the bread….

Worst service I have ever experienced! The waiter behaved like he was angry that we were there and he had to serve us. Wouldn’t be surprised to learn that he does not like people of color. I would stay away...

Creative menu, executed beautifully. Server was excellent. His help understanding the menu was important. Printed menu could have had more clues about the food, but our server filled in the gaps. Get the cauliflower hummus!

Delicious food with amazing flavors. Tried a variety of things from menu and really enjoyed everything. Highly recommend. Only downside was that we made reservation but did not get seated for over 40 min after reservation.

We made a reservation because we always want to have what Phil’s having. Didn’t have any expectations going in and just went with what looked or sounded good. The bread was amazing and everything we tried was delicious. We left very full and happy!

We love all the appetizers, hummus and pitas, especially the hummus is very delicious. Even the dripping coffee is filled with aroma and tasty. We ordered Baba Ganoush, pickles, kale tabbouleh, cauliflower for the appetizers. We already were half full so we shared the Arayes20 and Chicken Schnitzel Sandwich.

The food was wonderful but the restaurant was freezing! Someone mentioned it to the manager but my husband & I could not see the difference. I could not wait to be done! It kind of ruined the whole experience. :(

We love Shaya with its fresh pita bread. The hanger steak was delicious. Heard about hummus & fried chicken. It was good ! The salatim “moussaka” was disappointing, and the labneh & ikra taste so similar in my opinion

An absolutely exceptional experience. Service was wonderful and attentive. We enjoyed the ikra, mushroom hummus, lamb kofta kebab and chicken leg and thigh. All served with the best, hot, fresh pita. The food was some of the best we’ve ever had in New Orleans. I only wish we hadn’t waited until the last day to try Shaya. I would have loved another visit with more hummus and pita.

The food was amazing! We had watched the review of Shaya on Netflix "Who's Feeding Phil" before our trip to New Orleans and we decided this restaurant would be top of our "must visit" list. None of us were disappointed. Unfortunately, the noise was so loud in the restaurant, we could barely hear the waiter describing the dishes.

All the food was outstanding except the pita breads. The first pita we got was perfection, with a slight char on the outside, and all the rest after that were underdone. The last one we received was really undercooked to the point we didn't eat it, which was a shame. The labne cheesecake was one of the most memorable and delicious deserts we've ever eaten--don't miss it.

It was our second time in a year coming to this restaurant. Nothing like the rest of New Orleans, but it is absolutely amazing! Our server was Brooke. Could not be a sweeter person. Every single dish was off the rails. Just enjoy the experience if you are fortunate enough to get a reservation. Truly amazing restaurant.
