Very good food. We had a good time
We had an OUTSTANDING experience! We enjoyed the food and the service!
Food was really good. Bread and oil were great!
The lamb dish was elegant and I would highly recommend.
Atmosphere was very nice as well. Servers were attentive.
Loved the ambiance, service and oh, the food.... simply amazing. We tried a bit of everything, including Lebanese beer and wine. Top quality food, ingredients and yet so simple. We will certainly come back.
Shaya is an amazing restaurant. We are foodies and like to eat and experience multiple things on a menu and nothing disappointed. From the hummus to the lamb leg, everything was top notch.
Great service and great. As usual food was delicious.
As usual, the food and ambiance were outstanding. Our server forgot we were dining guests several times ir h7st didn't care.
best Israeli dinner we have ever had and would recommend coming hungry with friends
Great service, ambiance, lighting, Service and menu! The lamb hummus is incredible. A very nice change from Cajun/creole if you’re visiting NOLA. Run don’t walk to eat here!
Food was outstanding! The service was professional and unobtrusive. This was my second visit and I plan to come back. Highly recommend!
Food wasn’t what We expected. Steak was raw and requested medium. Advised server and she didn’t ask if we wanted it recooked or sent back. Just nodded her head and said sorry. Fish was good but had too many garnishes on top which made it hard to eat.
The best part of this restaurant was the atmosphere. Would love to come back for a drink ONLY!!!
It was wonderful. Solid waiter and the food was excellent. Our first time there was great!
Incredible food and service. Can’t wait to go back.
Food and atmosphere were great for a nice anniversary dinner, but our waiter did not introduce himself once and seemed to try to get us to leave as soon as possible. Besides the attitude of our waiter, the entire experience was overall positive. Would go back but would not want the same waiter.
The flavors were unique and fantastic. Great cocktails and service. Highly recommend it
I don’t just make a point of coming to Shaya when I’m in Nola, I make a point of coming to New Orleans so I can visit Shaya. Yes, it is that good. The fried chicken hummus is one of the top five best things I have ever eaten. I brought my kids for the first time and they can’t stop talking about how good the entire experience was. The service is always impeccable and the meal from start to finish puts Shaya at the top of any restaurant you will experience.
The food was incredible. The slow roasted lamb was fall apart tender, and the flavors were amazing. The service was wonderful, and it was a perfect atmosphere for a romantic date with my lady.
We sat in the shaded patio. Leah gave us great service. We picked 3 for $15; lebnah, roasted beets, baba ganouge, also hummus fried chicken and Brussels sprouts. Plenty of food for 2. We had lots of leftovers. And as always, the bread❣💜💚💛
This is my third visit to Shaya, and it didn’t disappoint. I’m from out of town, and I will always try to go there. The food is delicious and unique. It’s on Magazine, my favorite place to shop I. NOLA!
As long as they are open, I will keep coming back.
Shaya was absolutely wonderful and I can’t wait to go back!
We had an excellent waiter, he was attentive, informative, and read the table well. The food was excellent, we had three dishes off the salatim, hummus, two small plates and the lamb. It was a good amount of food for two people but everything was delicious.
Start with the cauliflower hummus and roasted beets, then get the lamb!
Lovely meal and service
Not bad, but not as good as it was.
Place was half empty and we were taken to a bad table.
We were taken to a better one but ...
Bread (Normally amazing) was undercooked.
Waitress seemed put out that we wanted to use a gift card.
Manager came over and made things right.
I guess even a great place has a bad day. We will return soon to see if thats all it was because we live the fried chicken hummus and the seasoned rice.
Amazing as always! I love Shaya, it is always so good.
We had a great experience although they put us upstairs and it seemed like a space for a wedding venue. Wish they would have told us that when we booked the reservation.
Wonderful place to eat and atmosphere and service is always great. The food is delicious and you need to
Give this a try.
Phenomenal food, and really safe experience with excellent covid protocols and distancing!
Best lunch I have had in quite some time! Loved the setting. We dined outside due to COVID and they were super accommodating as I had an older guest who was nervous. Fabulous good and attentive waitstaff.
Great Birthday get together!! Pita & Hummus so Good!!
A friend was in town only for lunch so I wanted her to experience Shaya! And she loved it!!!
My experience of Shaya was absolutely incredible from the moment you walk in the door. Roger and hostess greeted us and sat us promptly at our table and the waitress quickly took our drink orders. The overall experience was very high end and pleasant. I will definitely be back! The incredible service and atmosphere sets it apart from other restaurants in the city!
Try the lamb shank!
The food was excellent as always, but the tables upstairs were a great addition. Lots of room and we had one of the two tables by the windows, so a fun view of Magazine St. Our waiter was very nice and professional and the tables were well spaced, so we felt completely safe. Highly recommend it for dinner.
What can I say other than this was perfection. We had the most seasoned server, Lea, take care of us with such enthusiasm. The food was a perfect blend of israeli, lebanese, and mediterranean. My friend who accompanied me has the soap gene for cilantro and I have had a long standing distaste for lima beans. We both enjoyed these two items as they were perfected in their dishes. The dessert was amazing. The date salsa is a MUST. And the dark chocolate ganache is honestly orgasmic. The best food experience of my life. I will definitely be returning. This is a special place and one of few where the price of anything was not on my mind. In the end the cost was WELL worth the experience. The food was something you wish to savor, not pig out on. So beautifully created and captured. I hope the chefs know how wonderful their artistry shines on shayas menu. I could go on forever.
WOW!!! Every aspect of Shaya was fantastic. We walked and in were immediately seated. Our waitress was tremendous at explaining the menu and how each item tasted. She was attentive without be too much (if you know what I mean). She had a wonderful sense of humor and made the experience wonderful. The food was fresh and savory. Each plate gave me a different experience. We will absolutely be back!
Great seasonal cocktails and food! Definite must!
Shaya is ALWAYS wonderful. Tasty Healthy and Fresh. Never missed a beat!
Absolutely amazing! Already can't wait to go back. The fried chicken hummus is to die for.
