Arriving at the hotel, you immediately feel the boutique vibe that brilliantly radiates La Jolla Shores chic. The elevator ride to the unknown. At last, the doors open to the 11th floor. You are greeted by a beautiful bar lounge and smiling faces. My friend and I were immediately taken by the beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean, swaying palm trees, and the offshore breeze. The restaurant does not have a bad seat in the house, as every seat has a view! The decor matches the rest of the hotel with that boutique chic vibe. Our server was amazing. Presentation was perfection. I really do not have a bad thing to say. My friend and I ordered the banana bread with butter, the apple pancakes that had the most amazing cream syrup That was basically dessert and an omelette. The three egg omelette gives you the option to choose three choices, but you can add more for about a dollar per choice thereafter. Extremely reasonable. Everything tasted fresh. The crispy potatoes were amazing. Bloody Mary’s & mimosas were great! Be sure to check out their drink menu as there are many creative and delicious concoctions available! We will definitely be back with more friends! This is definitely La Jolla‘s best kept Secret. Perhaps I should not have written this review! I’ve paid more to eat at a pancake house! Three menu choices, 4 cocktails altogether, and that view! The bill was less than $130! Be sure to check out their drink menu as there are many creative and delicious concoctions available! They have live music during brunch on Sundays that I’m looking forward to trying. Finally, with validation from the restaurant, parking is free!

I ignored two red flags - hotel restaurant and top floor with a view restaurant. Very mediocre and expensive. Nice view.

We had a party of 4 and we all ordered the halibut special and after dinner we all agreed that it was dry and over cooked. Too bad. The last two times we were there we had the salmon and it was very good.

Love the view the food was great. We both ordered salmon with bagels. Very good. Our server was very nice as well music a little loud.

Fantastic view all around and amazing food! There isn’t a spot in the restaurant without a great view (even the ladies room!!) Adequate parking spots with validation a big plus. Will certainly go again!

I’ve always enjoyed dining in the restaurants atop Hotel La Jolla, in their many reincarnations, going back to Elario’s, with live jazz and one of the best wine lists in Southern California. Sea and Sky, the latest, has great views over La Jolla Shores to the Pacific. We reserved one hour before sunset to enjoy some color. The June gloom rolled in, so we missed that treat. S&S offers eight starters and eight entrees. We shared the blue crab cake starter, $28, a tasty, good-sized round portion, about five inches across, with excellent crab content, trout roe, green blueberry capers, and mustard. The spicy chorizo and Manila clams starter, $28, came in a white wine, garlic, and tomato broth, and crostini for dipping, and was a little light on flavor. The daily fish, $47, halibut, a decent portion but bland, came with mashed potatoes, blistered shishito peppers, and Chinese long beans, which didn’t seem fresh. It has a decent wine by the glass list starting at $13. Corkage is $25. Service was excellent. To enjoy the setting at lower prices, visit during the daily happy hour from 3 to 5 p.m.

The entire top floor of a hotel as you enter La Jolla from the east. One of if not The Best views in San Diego. The food is Amazing and the service is thoughtful and caring. Take the elevator to the top floor and enjoy.

Superb! Arthur and our Somalia took the most spectacular care of me and my family for dinner. We celebrated my youngest for his graduation and wanted something special to celebrate. Sea & Sky made the evening exceptional with their attentiveness, suggestions for menu selections and made sure my son was taken care of. The food was perfectly prepared and tasted amazing! We spent over two hours enjoying the food, the ambiance and just being with family. I will absolutely visit this restaurant again and again when in La Jolla. It’s definitely a keeper!
