Sea & Sky will also offer an innovative drink menu with regional California and Valle de Guadalupe wines, as well as handcrafted cocktails with ingredients from around the world. Please join us for Jazz brunch every Sunday.

We had a lovely sunset view table (as are many at at this venue). Service was good, though not particularly stellar. Our issue was that the food was so salty, but my wife's fish and my steak that it actually caused us both stomach issues either. Now to be fair we are low salt eaters, but I rarely make a point of commenting on something like this because it's so subjective. Also my steak was properly cooked but served almost cool. All in all we'd like to go back for a happy hour and give it a second chance as there was nothing intentionally neglected by the staff.

The view is incredible! Go during the sunset hours and you won’t be disappointed. Food was good, octopus was a small portion and a bit over priced. Flavor was there. We went back for drinks and apps at the bar and it was great.

We celebrated a graduation here on Saturday night. The view was unbeatable, the service was impeccable and the food was delicious. I highly recommend.

Cusp used to be one of my favorite restaurants in all of SD. The amazing view was matched by a top-tier innovative kitchen and an even more ambitious cocktail program and the service was always excellent and personal. That all ended when the Hotel La Jolla became part of the Hilton Curio Collection. At least they still have the view. I decided to try the newly renovated place-- now called Sea & Sky-- for Mother's Day Brunch. The food was good but pretty uninspired. There were no cocktails to be had because apparently the bar didn't open until 3pm-- on Mother's Day... with a packed room. Ludicrous. The service-- my real reason for writing this review-- was uniformly awful. The hostess-- wearing a wrinkled shirt and a frown--barely mumbled hello as we arrived. There was no welcome of any kind-- certainly no acknowledgement that it was Mother's Day or any attempt to make my mom feel special. This while other, far less expensive restaurants gush over every mom as they walk in, handing them a rose or some other token to elevate the experience. She walked us to our table, dropped the menus and split. Our waiter, Heddy, wasn't much better. He kept asking the same questions, didn't seem to be familiar with menu, etc. The bones are still there. I might be convinced to keep trying the space periodically in hopes for a true return to form, but in order for that to happen, the hotel probably needs to change hands again-- or Hilton needs to improve their compensation program and hiring standards for F&B staff.

Great view of the ocean and La Jolla. Busy day, so I will give some grace, but we sat down and within 3 minutes the waitress asked if we were ready to order. Felt rushed most of the meal and the check was brought halfway into eating. Food was decent, though not spectacular. Nice to visit, felt like a hotel restaurant experience versus a destination experience. Glad we tried. We won’t return.

You cannot beat the view from the restaurant, at the top of the hotel on the 11th floor overlooking La Jolla. The restaurant itself has a wonderful ambiance and the service was very good. The food was very good but fairly expensive, especially for the salmon which was a very small portion with only a few small pieces of potato and barely enough vegetable to be mentioned on the menu. My wife had the steak which was very good, and fortunately was a large enough portion that I was able to eat some of it and avoid leaving the restaurant hungry.
