   Scott's is the best restaurant in Richmond in terms of ambience, food and excellent service. The wine waiter is excellent.

   Scott’s is always a treat but their set lunch meal deal makes it a treat I could come back for every week. Food was terrific and service excellent.

   Overall experience was fairly positive, nice atmosphere and decor is unusual. Seating was a bit disappointing during lunch hours you’re Sat upstairs and most of the table don’t have a view or outlook to speak of. We waited ages, at least 30 minutes, just to have our drink order taken. Food took a while too though I’m not too perturbed by that. We had prawns, smoked salmon and 2 set menus with trout. Food was tasty but not out of this world and prices are quite high so I expect delivery. Wine was nice, petit Chablis. No dessert. No recognition of the special occasion birthday booking.

   We booked Scott's Richmond for a special occasion, which we had noted on the booking and just to be certain I had called the restaurant the day before to make sure they had the message. We had a really excellent and memorable experience, with a perfect table, as we'd requested, in a beautiful room with great views over the river and a lovely ambience; very good service; excellent food and for what it delivered, very reasonable prices. We'd highly recommend Scott's.

   I was expecting more like Mayfair but service was very average and not experienced staff on the floor. One of the staff poured oyster juices down one of the guests shirt and jacket and when pointed out no remorse or offer of dry cleaning was offered. I would expect more of an establishment like Scott’s
