Cool vibe with good music. Our waiter was very welcoming and friendly. The food was good, but the portions were small. We got the salmon Benedict and the fried chicken biscuit. For almost $20 for each plate, I’d expect maybe some sides (sides are $4 each) that come with the plate, or a larger portion, and I would also expect the food to come out warm (the Benedict came to our table room temperature/almost cold). The Bloody Mary was very good!

I celebrated my birthday at Sawyer with a party of 8 on June 1st. We sat outside on the patio, which was very comfortable except for the heat. There was a fan, but I feel like more fans are in order in the Texas heat. Everyone raved about their brunch entrees, and I found myself dreaming of going back for the vegetables-and-eggs plate the next day. It was delicious and guilt free. The service was excellent - attentive, friendly and non-obtrusive. I'm so glad I decided to have brunch at Sawyer - everyone in the party loved it, too!

This is such a solid place! As someone who appreciates GOOD coffee, Sawyer & Co is a new go-to for me. The service never disappoints, and neither does the food. Highly recommend visiting for brunch and trying the grits!

Always enjoy dining at Sawyer & Co. Today's server was Claire, who was very friendly, helpful, and thoughtful. Today was extra special when owner/founder Stephen Shallcross stopped by our table for an enlightening and delightful conversation. I love both Sawyer & Co. and De Nada and will soon try out Lil' Easy, the third component of this wonderful Austin trio.
