Saverina is a neighborhood restaurant in the heart of Belleview Station. Chef Christian Graves brings the spirit of Italian cooking to your plate by way of local, seasonal and sustainable ingredients. Our wine list, with a focus on Italian labels and California reds, is the highlight of our beverage program, but we can’t help but champion our thoughtful selection of local beers, classic cocktails, and aperitifs. Many delicious house made pasta dishes, also personal sized pizzas and fish and steak entrees. Prices are moderate but well worth the price.

We had a very nice meal at Saverina, the food was excellent. The only downside was it was loud, just the way the acoustics of the restaurant was. It was a fun evening out.

The food and service were outstanding. As the restaurant got busier it naturally got noisier. The noise was not a deal breaker and we plan on returning.

Food was delicious! Server forgot one of our entrées, so we had to wait until it could be prepared. The manager was very apologetic and said he would deduct the tardy meal. I should have examined the receipt more closely because the deduction was not made and by the time I realized it, it was not worth driving back. Our other experiences at this restaurant were better.

Excellent service and delicious food. The Burrata & Sourdough starter was delicious and my filet was cooked perfectly!

Food, ambience were great. Live music was way too loud; very hard to have a conversation. Service was an issue from the start. After setting that we wanted sparkling water for the table, the bus boy proceeded to ask each person for their water order. I asked him to bring us some champagne as a surprise for the guest of honor, and the server arrived asking of we wanted champagne - to confirm. So much for the surprise. The server clearly did not know anything about wine service. She gave me a tasting - literally a thimble, then pour my wine first, dripping it all over, poured the women in our party last. Never presented the cork. For $180 bottle of wine, I expected better. The wine was a little off, but I didn’t have the heart to tell her and I only knew that after having enough wine in my glass to actually taste it. We had the carpaccio, shared a pizza, had various pasta dishes and two desserts. Hats off to the chef! But from a service perspective, no utensils or plates to share without us asking. We had a good time, enjoyed the food. But this could (and probably should) have been so much better.

Delicious mussels that they were able to adapt to pescatarian diet. The focaccia was also also delicious and the wine selections terrific. Lovely environment!

Food and service were great. The restaurant itself feels like it’s part of the hotel lobby. They need to put up some kind of partitioned wall- maybe even a glass one- to give diners a more intimate experience. Pasta was great and made in house.

The food was so-so. Our server failed to tell us about the ‘Tuscan Special’, which we would have ordered, had we known about it. Overall, the value just wasn’t there, given the cost. We would not return, nor would we recommend it to anyone else. 👎
