Beautiful, peaceful, and good that didn’t disappoint. I can’t wait to go back
I decided on a girls night with a rooftop experience. Views are beautiful. The food was great. The wait staff made excellent food recommendations. Unfortunately their was a large party that wasn’t very considerate of other dining guests. This guy was first dance at his table but when he was dancing on his chair, knocking over a chair 5x that had a white fur coat(not sure if it was real), and ripping off the mask of a floor manager I was mortified. I couldn’t believe they continued to serve him. For Beverly Hill I expected better.
Great food! Great service! Overall great place for date night
A disappointing New Year's. It's an open rooftop space and when the cold winds blow, they blow through the whole place. We got to the restaurant at 9:35 for a 9:30pm reservation but we waited for 15 minutes before we were seated at a table in an outdoor space that was only 60% full. We were put at a table without a space heater. They remedied that fairly quickly, and we got water right away but it took 20 minutes and my wife tracking down the manager for us to get our bottle of champagne and start the food service. The mezze appetizer plate was quite good as was the kale salad, but the kebabs were dry and overcooked. As the evening wore on the service did become more attentive, thanks to the manager. I'm hoping that they will shake out the problems and get better and perhaps they weren't prepared for this NYE. But don't go if the temperature outside is below 55, because that will be the temperature at your table every time the wind blows.
Food was great, only the service was not as expected, she was slow and not really able to explain the menu clearly.
Wonderful experience, great food, great staff and a superb view of century city. Great place to enjoy a family dinner or friends supper. 10/10
The ambiance was so pretty, it just was nice sit and enjoy the view. Our waitress was able to recommend a sauce that went well with my meal. I had the eggplant sauce appetizer with the beef skewer meal. The meat was so tender and cooked perfectly.
The food was impeccable. I want another dish already. My only feedback doesn’t have to do with the restaurant itself, but the parking validation. $20-50 for an evening of parking is a bit much.
It was freezing cold and i requested a heating lamp at least 4 times and the waiter kept saying yes when the next table gets up and leaves. AT LEAST 4 tables got up but heating lamps were kept at the table for the next guests. Our side of rice and lentils came cold, mushy and flavorless. In addition to us being freezing our food was cold and the service was poor. very sad to say this.
I truly enjoyed the quality of the food and my overall experience here. Service was great, our server was very friendly and made us feel welcome, the food and drink he recommended was spot on. We got beet salad, and feta dip as appetizer and Lamb and Filet for the main course. Everything was delicious including the pitta bread they brought for the feta dip. I also appreciated the complementary valet! Will definitely come back.
Great time with family
Extremely poor service and it wasn’t even busy. Asked for inside seating and got placed outside, there was no one dining inside. Not very welcoming towards POC
We were staying at the hotel and decided to have a relaxing dinner at the restaurant upstairs, Santolina. We were able to quickly make a reservation on Open Table and were greeted warmly by the host who quickly sat us down outside. The outdoor seating is beautiful with a canopy of lights above and a view of the city. The waiter was very nice and made a few recommendations for appetizers. We were a party of 5 and we got the hummus, the cheese spread, the beets, the falafel, the latkes, the Israeli salad, chicken kabobs, schnitzel and salmon. The appetizers were average at best and the hummus was actually terrible tasting. The Israeli salad was spicy and tasted more like a salsa. Our main courses were not much better: the chicken kabab was bland and came with no sides, the salmon and schnitzel were ok. Finally, the bill came and was close to 500$ with no dessert. Sadly it was a very expensive and not delicious experience. I really wanted to love it because Mediterranean food is one of my favorites, but the flavors and spices were off and the quality of the food was just not there, especially for the price.
The lighting weren't good. Food wasn't anything special. The sea bass was served over bed of coscos and accompanied with a bunch of arugula.
Birthday dinner! It was wonderful!
Service was very slow
really yummy food. downside was we couldn’t get a heat lamp and wait staff was not good about refilling waters
The ambiance walking in past the bar does not live
up to the excellence of the food.
Needs greenery and carpet removal.
First time dining here. Food and service was very good.
The overall setting is nice but could use better furniture and linen.
Never have been to a restaurant where my appetizers were served before my drink was even ordered. The place is beautiful and great vibes but was not happy that I had to start eating my apps before I could even chill and have a drink before eating with my family who flew in from out of town. Loved the ambiance
The food is delicious !! What a beautiful ambience and view !
The food, service and ambiance were all spectacular
Staff is incredible and the food is great!
This place is pretty mediocre and therefore overpriced. I didn’t even order drinks and it still was outside of what I’d like to spend. The portions were small, the ambiance was mediocre, it felt like we were eating at a makeshift restaurant that someone drew up because they had the space. Food lacked greatness. Won’t be going back and won’t be recommending to others.
This is the worst Mediterranean food I ever had and I’m very familiar with this kind of food. Even the desert was terrible, the chef has no clue of what is Mediterranean food!
Very delicious roasted chicken dish and amazing views!
The hummus was like water and was very salty… it was not properly prepared… should be thicker whipped. The chicken skewer was very dried out. The shrimp skewer was salty.
The berekas were good, and the feta dip was good. Everything else was very poor. Also, our drinks came after the food was served and they were very sour.
Not a good experience to be honest. Wouldn’t go back.
The lamb burger was overspiced and so I had terrible water retention / bloating after I got home. Baking soda eventually helped. The manager never engaged us regarding the stale reheated bread - bottom of the bread was hard and so one had to pick off the upper portion to get bread for our various appetizer dips. Just a missed opp to have made us regulars.
The menu for brunch is very limited and horrible quality food . Too pricy for what they offer .
Everything tasted the same-reused same common spices over and over. Very one note. Fish was dry and no way a splitable dish. Entrees are person for sure unless you just want to share a couple bites for the table. Service was a mess. Server couldn’t even own her missteps and missing items we ordered. No I’m so sorry, more like really, I thought you didn’t order that. Okay, goodbye. Bad service continued until we hunted down a manager to complain. Then it was hyperdrive for five minutes, and then nothing again. Comping part of the meal doesn’t cut it, there were a group of us and none would return. If you’re going to dine, there are better places in Los Angeles for Greek/Mediterranean food and drinks with amazing ambiance and service.
Outstanding food in a beautiful rooftop atmosphere, highly recommended for a special occasion, although not inexpensive.
New menu sucks
Ruined my birthday brunch. One star because the service is terrible AND THEY ADD 20% GRATUITY TO THE CHECK AUTOMATICALLY and this was the worst birthday brunch experience, I have never felt more invisible or less important even though the reservation indicated we were celebrating a 30th birthday. Half our food came. The other half was given to a large birthday celebration, even though they were seated about 30 minutes after us. We inquired about the rest of our parties' dishes twice, and then a server brought over a different table's dishes. An hour and a half after we were seated: still missing dishes. We canceled the dishes because we were baking in the heat - the roof is beautiful but it it a greenhouse with no air flow. The food itself? The zaatar chicken and fries were served ice cold. We told them the chicken was not enjoyable- nothing. The bread and dips were the only thing we were able to enjoy. Even after we complained that they ruined the birthday, they didn't bring out a birthday dessert or anything. They did, of course, pay attention to the other larger tables besides us. When we paid, I did note how terrible everything was and how it was unacceptable not to treat our smaller party with the same care as the other tables. The manager came and welcomed us back for dinner. But, I explained that we were treated so poorly during the meal, as we noted the issues, that we had no reason to return just to deal with it again. He offered to reimburse the meal and we first said no but then I said okay they can void the charge because I was so angry about the treatment that I figured spending $300 on a meal when only 1/2 the meal arrived was not right. Very disappointed, I was looking forward to a beautiful birthday brunch.
Wow, I’ve been to many restaurants in LA, and across the country. The food was delicious, full of flavors I had not experianced until dining here. My new favourite restaurant!
Delicious food and amazing views!
Very cute ambiance and great for a date night. Fairy lights are cute and music was fun. Drinks are really yummy and all the food we had was great. Portions are small though and overall menu is a little pricey for what it is. Would come back for light dinner and drinks.
Here is what was amazing:
Sea bass was way over cooked but good flavoring.
For that price the sea bass should be amazing.
