Old~world elegance meets contemporary cuisine in a venue that boasts one of the best outdoor dining experiences in Santa Fe.

Nestled in the charm and elegance of one of Santa Fe's most beloved historical homes, Santacafé has been a restaurant icon for over 40 years. It was bought in 2019 by Santa Fe restauranteur Quinn Stephenson - the driving force behind another Santa Fe legend, Coyote Café.

Boasting one of the best outdoor patio dining experiences the City Different has to offer, Santacafé combines the traditions of modern American cooking with exquisitely locally sourced ingredients.

Please note Santacafe does not allow animals inside OR on the patio.

We are so excited to welcome Kistler Vineyards to Santacafe, celebrating Wine and Chile Fiesta. Join us for a lovely evening on the Patio. We will be offering a 5 course tasting menu starting with a taste of Sparkling Wine and hors d'oeuvres. Followed by another four courses including Kistler Chardonnay and Kistler Pinot Noir. One seating at 6:30pm as representatives from the winery will be speaking to the crowd on the patio. Once you pay for this experience everything inluding tax and gratuity will be settled. Seating is limited

We love dining at Santacafe. The staff is as good as any where. The salads, entrees and desserts are delicious. We love dining both inside and on the patio. We especially appreciate that it is not loud and we can enjoy a conversation with our guests without being loud.

Great night celebrating my husband's 60th birthday. August was a great server! He did a fantastic job. Food was great for some and just ok for others, everyone has different perspectives. Our table was set for 8 but we had a party of 6. Only issue was that it was a bit too big for us to have a great conversation all together. The depth of the table also made it very challenging for the servers to fill up our drinks, etc. No extra attention given to the birthday boy but that is always a nice surprise rather than expected.

We enjoyed our dinner last night. Delicious calamari was shared by the table and salads ordered were very good. Three in our party had the blackened salmon. The fish was perfectly done (I ordered mine MR). All of us felt that the dish was too salty, not only the fish but the sautéed kale that was on the plate as well. The other diner had the chicken dish which she thought was wonderful! Service was excellent. Patio was lovely. If not for the over-seasoning, we would have rated 5 stars.

We had reservations for the patio and it was raining, but they had a plan! Seating under the portal Im front of the restaurant. Exceptional meal, service, and desert.

We have had a love/hate relationship with Santa Cafe for many years. One of our very worst dining experiences of all time was at Santa Cafe a number of years ago. The restaurant seems to have righted itself, and has become one of our regular favorites. The food, service, atmosphere, etc. are all very good.
