Old~world elegance meets contemporary cuisine in a venue that boasts one of the best outdoor dining experiences in Santa Fe. Nestled in the charm and elegance of one of Santa Fe's most beloved historical homes, Santacafé has been a restaurant icon for over 40 years. It was bought in 2019 by Santa Fe restauranteur Quinn Stephenson - the driving force behind another Santa Fe legend, Coyote Café. Boasting one of the best outdoor patio dining experiences the City Different has to offer, Santacafé combines the traditions of modern American cooking with exquisitely locally sourced ingredients.

    We are so excited to welcome Kistler Vineyards to Santacafe, celebrating Wine and Chile Fiesta. Join us for a lovely evening on the Patio. We will be offering a 5 course tasting menu starting with a taste of Sparkling Wine and hors d'oeuvres. Followed by another four courses including Kistler Chardonnay and Kistler Pinot Noir. One seating at 6:30pm as representatives from the winery will be speaking to the crowd on the patio. Once you pay for this experience everything inluding tax and gratuity will be settled. Seating is limited

Followed by another four courses including Overture Red Wine as well as Opus One from different Vintages. We will offer One seating at 6:30pm as representatives from the winery will be speaking to each table. Once you pay for this experience everything inluding tax and gratuity will be settled. We are also excepting regular reservations as well, return to standard reservation. Seating is extremely limited

                                    We had a wonderful evening dining in the courtyard. Things were a little slow because the place was jammed. Regardless the service was excellent and professional. The deserts were amazing.

                                    This is a favorite restaurant for us when in Santa Fe. Usually we’re greeted by the host with “welcome back.” Last night it was “you’re checked in. Go set on the banco.” Once seated it took almost fifteen minutes before anyone came to our table. Once he came to the table, our waiter was nice and the service was great until our appetizers were served. It took a long time after that for our entrees. We weren’t served bread, we had to ask for it. Our waiter came once after someone else brought our entrees. No water refills. Empty plates. No sign of our waiter or his junior waiter/busser. We finally waved down a young women who was the busser for a different waiter to ask for water. She was great! She took our plates away, asked if we wanted coffee and or dessert menus. When we were ready to go, we had our credit cards setting on the table for at least fifteen minutes before we got the check. They finally dropped the check and left. More time passes, still no waiter. Our dinner guest finally took our cards up and gave them to the manager. No apology that we were kept waiting, nothing. I managed to catch the young lady who helped us and pass her a tip before we left. The food was mostly, wonderful. My Kale was so salty I couldn’t eat it. The Beef Bourgogne was ok, not great. Maybe it was the holiday weekend crush, I don’t know. It was a disappointing experience.

                                    We have eaten at and enjoyed Coyote Cafe and thought this would be similar quality food. We were a little disappointed. The filet was dry and covered in so much sauce that you couldn’t taste the meat. The pork chop was also over seasoned. The tempura asparagus was very good. The atmosphere is very nice. However, the food didn’t live up to expectations.

                                    Service started out great but went downhill. Food was dropped with not silverware, took at least 5 minutes to get someone’s attention. My second drink arrived half was through my meal. Too bad because we like to support our local restaurateurs, and we love eating in the garden this time of year.
