   Great spot for afternoon lunch. Waitress was very helpful and enjoyable to work with. Rest of staff were also very friendly. Food was great as always.

   This is a fantastic find in Santa Fe. The Hamachi appetizer was delectable and the mushroom soup was divine. My salmon was cooked perfectly and my son's Bolognese pasta was as good as grandma's, he said. A real gem.

   We had an exceptional experience at Santa Cafe. It's one of our regular spots but seems to get better each time we go. Our server Kyle was warm, professional and attentive without being disruptive. His knowledge of the menu was extremely helpful. The plates were creative, delicious and beautifully artistic! Thumbs up!

   Santacafe continues to be one of our favorite restaurants in Santa Fe. The food was excellent and Cassandra, our server, did her usual efficient job. The restaurant was busy but it didn’t delay our meal in the least. We always look forward to dining there.

   Our servers were excellent. Two at our table ordered a mushroom entree the was tasteless. Santa Cafe comped another entree. While the restaurant was gracious in its response to the returned entrees (also comped after dinner dinner drinks and a wine that suited the comped entree), the kitchen was quite disappointing. Even the comped entree was lackluster. This was my second dinner at Santa Cafe (first was very good) and I will not return.

    The mushroom soup, farro salad, and bolognese were incredible. We also enjoyed the Vietnamese lobster, but I found the dish to be very complex. The focus did not seem to be the lobster- which is what I was looking for. Overall, the food, the service, and the ambiance put this restaurant in my top 10.

    Excellent service, filet was ordered medium rare, but was very rare, pleasant atmosphere, but noisy indoor seating, Santa Fe expensive, everything else was very nice.

    We hadn’t been to Santacafe for awhile and were glad we went. Best Caesar salad we have had in a long time and our meals were perfect. I had the Scottish salmon, cooked perfectly with a sublime puréed sweet potato. My husband really like the Pasta Bolognese more than he expected. All the staff were professional and very friendly. We won’t wait as long to go back.

    As always—an absolutely wonderful experience—Cassie and Toby were exceptional. Kyle was his usual charming and professional self. If I could change ONE thing it would be the music—ugh. Sreamy wordy and not anywhere near pleasant for dining. Thankfully we’re we’re the only people in that space a day least it could be turned down. Other than that, an almost perfect late Saturday afternoon lunch!

    As always, food, service and ambiance is wonderful. We had the pleasure of meeting Kristin, the general manager, who was fantastic. The whole team at SantaCafe are so great. They are so careful if a customer has a food allergy, and the kitchen always accommodates. Love the menu, had their burger which was fantastic. Ate half for lunch, half for dinner. They know I love their mushroom soup and brought out an amuse bouche of it, so kind.

    I found the pasta special not up to Santa Cafe standards. I thought the chicken was tough and tasted a little "old". The puttanesca sauce a little overwhelming with olive taste. I didn't say anything as perhaps I just misordered. Thanks.

    Outstanding dining experience!! From beginning to end, all the Staff was attentive and polished, but not in the way. Food choices are varied and the Wine list extensive. Ambiance could be improved by reducing the volume on the background music, and the playlist should not be Pop, Rock or Indie Rock. Please use something more appropriate to the Venue and its atmosphere. Smooth Jazz would be welcomed.

    This is the second time dining at SantaCafe and it did not disappoint. It is the sister restaurant to the Coyote Cafe and since we dined there the preceding night, our waiter had called to prepare the way. Adam at the front of the lovely intimate restaurant was very charming, and Abigale took exemplary care of us throughout the evening. Starting out with a little local sparkling wine from Gruet, I started with their amazing mushroom soup. Truly wonderful! Considering I have been eating my way through Santa Fe the last few days, I decided to have their lobster salad with radishes as my main. Just lovely and well balanced along with a glass of Morgan Pinot Noir which was excellent. My husband had the bolognese which he loved. We ended the night sharing the lemon cake (fabulous) and a little dessert wine from a local winery in Socorro, New Mexico called Fiona. Impressive and whenever we return, this restaurant along with the Coyote Cafe will be on our list.

    Santacafe excels in every category. Our starter was the Porcini Mushroom soup and it was the best soup I have ever tasted. My out-of-town guest (who is herself a fabulous cook) delighted in her salmon tostados. We each chose a dessert, paired with glasses of champagne. Our ooohs and ahhs were visceral. As always, the ambience was soothing. The service - provided by both Adam and Leo - was attentive and never intrusive. 5 stars in every category - that's why we return, time after time.

    This was a Restaurant week visit by six of us. My Atlantic salmon was perfectly cooked. The frisée and citrus accompaniment to the fish and the cheesy risotto was not a good combination. My husband’s pork chop was dry. Desserts were great. Fritos misto appetizers did not compare to the calamari- a different aioli was used and not quite as good.

    Staff was wonderful. The oversized uniforms they require their bussing staff to wear is long outdated. The food we ordered off the main menu was delightful while the Restaurant week menu items were over salted and were created for a less than delicate pallet. A disappointment. The farrow and fig salad and mushroom soup were lovely . The pork chops were over cooked, and not just a little. The wine menu was decent as far as options, however when a standard shelf bottle that’s normally $22 is listed at over $90, I’m suspect. Half of the ‘order by the glass, options were sold out which were barely passable sections at best.

    SantaCafe has wonderful heated outdoor dining, the offered cuisine is delicious, and the wait staff is always exceptional. We, of course, also adore Coyote Cafe. You simply can't go wrong, when you dine at either of these restaurants!

    Great experience. When a main pasta course came out underdone, the waiter took it back, prepared a new dish and then comped us for the dish, desert and port. Great customer service, and delightful food!

    We used the opportunity of Restaurant Week to access this well-spoken-of venue. The receptionist greeted us with saying our request for a warm spot would be honored. She, the man who delivered our food and a woman who kept the table pristine were all very welcoming and professional. The waiter we had was not. He spoke over us, even while I was ordering for us, saying he wanted to know if she (my partner) knew that she was ordering the same first course! We noted that he was interactive with other guests, and wondered if unaccompanied women might be trouble for him? When we left, he did not return to pick up the bill and no one was at the desk - and I imagine spending a day's wage on dinner might be cause to have human interaction. Our first course was a wonderful smelling and tasting mushroom soup - the garnish of a dark green fluffy substance was both unknown through taste and unneeded. At the other end of the menu, our desserts of flourless chocolate tart and lemon cake were served beautifully and had intense and excellent taste. The disappointment of our "mains" of salmon and pork chop was jolting: little taste for them or their "sides" and the food was almost cool coming out to us. The space is comfortable, off white, with an indiscernible style. We had hoped that it would be inviting enough for us to return when the weather allows for their famed outdoor seating. Our experience may have caught this venue on a bad night, which all of us have from time to time. Alas, for us, overall this was a "meh" experience. And there are so many places we already enjoy in the City and more to try.
