This was our first trip to Saltgrass and we were looking forward to a great steak dinner. We ordered drinks (2 cocktails). The Sangria Swirl was good. My daughter attempted to order 3 different cocktails off THEIR cocktail menu. None were available. Gluten free bread much better than regular bread. Wedge Salad - Delicious, but extra $5 charge? House Salad - As expected Potato Soup - Disappointing. It lacked actual potatoes and was more like a bowl of cheese with too much seasoning. Ribeye X2 - Both cooked correctly and were decent. The baked potato was still crunchy inside and had to be sent back for a correctly cooked one. Filet 6 OZ - This was the best on the table. It had a good flavor, looked like a filet (round and thick) and cooked perfectly at medium rare. Filet 9 oz #1 - It was ordered med rare. It arrived medium. It was cut like a sirloin - flat. It didn’t look like any filet we’ve ever eaten and this is a typical cut we order. The taste was not like a filet and tasted like a sirloin. Filet 9 oz #2 - Cooked correctly, but same look and taste as other 9 oz filet. It wasn’t the quality of any filet we’ve had and we’ve eaten plenty of filets. The baked Server brought the filets back. Manager came to table and insisted they were both filets. We told her they weren’t good. She offered to bring us options to table and we could choose our cut. We told her if that’s what the filet tasted like, we would pass. At this point we had eaten off other plates on the table. We had to refuse a re-cook 4 times. Another filet still arrived as manager said it had been started. We said we didn’t want it. After pushing a few times, my mom took it home. We were charged for the last 9oz filet even though we didn’t want it. The manager eventually removed from bill. This meal for 6 would’ve been almost $300. TX Roadhouse and Longhorn are much better! Server was very nice and felt bad. We put on reserv - celebrating anniver and nothing said at all. We won’t be back.

Business meal. About a year ago steak and appetizer quality was much better so we came back. Average quality and steaks cooked incorrectly this time around unfortunately.

They went out of their way to ensure we had a great dining experience - despite being short staffed for the evening. Food was amazing. Our steaks were perfectly cooked and the mushrooms and onions were fabulous. We enjoyed our meal and our time there!

Took 45 minutes for our salads then another 30 minutes for the entrees. Food was good, but service was poor. This was a Sunday evening

Our family had a great dinner at the Saltgrass Steakhouse at Roundhouse! The food, drinks and service were wonderful! Michelle did a great job and the rest of the staff too to make sure we had a fantastic dinner with happy memories to end our vacation! You have to try it!

Always a terrific meal. The menu is extensive and varied. Salad or soup and bread is included in the price of the entree. The drinks are quite good as well.

Seated promptly. Nice waiter. We order appetizer, salad and entree. Salad came about 2 minutes before entree. We were disappointed because we wanted to eat them in courses and so we all stopped eating salad and went to entree. Not a big deal but off putting. Also I specially listed it was a birthday celebration two times on our reservation and the birthday was nit acknowledged. The manager did come to the table to apologize for the timing and offered dessert. We assumed it was for the whole table but they only comped one. Which seemed disingenuous since we all had timing issues.
