Opening our doors in 1993, Salmon Dave’s has proudly endured as one of Greater Cleveland’s favorite local haunts. With an informal approach to upscale dining, our cozy neighborhood spot has gained a legendary reputation. After a recent head-to-toe renovation, Rocky River’s favorite restaurant is better than ever. The timeless character of the historic building lives on with distressed brick walls, crown moldings, and its signature mahogany bar.     I’ve only been to salmon Dave’s a few times in my life. And each and every time the food and the service was superb. Thank you so much for making dinner so nice.

    The food is always excellent and Sarah our server was on top of her game. The newly redesigned space is louder with the tile floor and not as cozy as the old decor but we under the need to change. It’s consistently our go to place with out of town guests.

    Salmon Daves was perfect! I had their special which was sockeye salmon and it was delicious. The Salmon was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. My husband had the pasta with shrimp and lobster and it was also very good. The restaurant was quiet and comfortable. And our server Wes was the best. We had a great time and will definitely go back!

    Salmon Dave’s used to be one of my favorite spots when I inspected it years ago. I popped in town for a surprise Father’s Day visit, so I appreciated that the staff was able to accommodate a last-minute request for an extra seat. Unfortunately, our server was cold, disengaged, and somewhat unprofessional. She spilled drinks on our table more than once - which management did apologize for and comp - but her demeanor never really improved, making the overall atmosphere feel uncomfortable. The lobster bisque is still a standout, and my dad really enjoyed his lobster roll. The food held up, but the service definitely affected the experience. Overall, just okay.

    Steak & lobster plate was great. Sockeye salmon was exceptional. Lobster bisque was thick with lobster chuncks. Each entree had rice with lobster bits in it. Very special presentation of plated food. It was Fathers Day and our entrees were delayed. Because of the delay they offered a crème brûlée for dessert as compensation for the delay. That is good business practice in their part. We left happy and full of delicious food.
