Opening our doors in 1993, Salmon Dave’s has proudly endured as one of Greater Cleveland’s favorite local haunts. With an informal approach to upscale dining, our cozy neighborhood spot has gained a legendary reputation. After a recent head-to-toe renovation, Rocky River’s favorite restaurant is better than ever. The timeless character of the historic building lives on with distressed brick walls, crown moldings, and its signature mahogany bar. The updated feel is an eclectic balance of traditional and contemporary design elements, creating the perfect backdrop for Salmon Dave’s spirited bar scene and relaxed dinner vibe.     Service was good. Atmosphere was very good. Ahi Tuna Sashimi was amazingly delicious! The Lobster & Shrimp Capellini was very good. The East Coast Bouillabaisse had a good flavor, but only three shrimp, half the mussels were missing their actual mussel, and very little fish -- the dish consisted mostly of fingerling potatoes.

    Salmon Dave’s is my favorite restaurant. We came to celebrate my birthday and had an amazing dinner. Bird was our server and she is fantastic. Best dirty martinis and lobster tails in town.

    It’s a beautiful restaurant. The food is excellent, but we just hated the noise. We couldn’t hear each other talk.

    Love Salmon Dave's for seasfood of any type. Love their east coast style lobster rolls, and, of course, their salmon plates are outstanding. Great ambiance, nice wine list, knowledgeable and attentive service.

    We hadn't been to Salmon Dave's in a long time and decided to come for our anniversary. Husband had the shrimp and scallops and I had the halibut special. Both very, very good. We will be back.

    What a great place. I moved from Rocky River and I haven’t dined at Salmon Dave’s in at least 20 years. I regret not returning sooner. My wife and I each had the Filet Mignon and Lobster tail dinner which was amazing. The Lobster Bisque is matched only by the other restaurants under the same ownership umbrella. Our waitress was the most professional and pleasant waitperson that we have ever had in NE Ohio. Many Kudos to her and the rest of her teammates for providing such great dining and bar service experience. The ambiance and interior design contributed to a most pleasant and comfortable evening that lasted about 90 unhurried minutes. We plan to return often. Life is Good!
