   This is a restaurant I know and love. Been there many times and will likely go more times. Two things. I was seated outside with guests and guests on another table were smoking cigars, which was most off-putting given the smoke drifted our way. The staff kindly moved us, which was better but the smoke still got to us. I feel that no one should be allowed to smoke outside, particularly cigars. The second thing, when ordering the steak tartare in the past one has always been given a sampler just to check that the spice balance is OK. This was not offered this time. The meal was great as usual, but such slip ups sometimes suggest that standards maybe starting to slip.

   Exceptional throughout. Relaxed but engaging and professional service of the highest quality. Just a perfect place to eat exceptional food, drink exceptional wine and feel relaxed in a fine dining establishment. French cuisine and dining at its best.

   Fabulous value set lunch, charcuterie, duck, tuna, apple tart with ice cream - all topped off with faultless service. Is this the type of restaurant from a bygone age of attention to detail in a discrete but comfortable environment? 100%. And that's a very good thing - rarely achieved this well these days.

   Lovely place for breakfast. Good Eggs Royale. I will return! Must be even better on the terrace when the weather is warmer.

    Really quiet on a Saturday night. Food wasn’t so tasty. Pheasant and beef main are really average especially. Wines were nice.
