Absolutely horrible Birthday Brunch for a friend's Bday. Food was disgusting - cold, not cooked all the way and no flavor plus took over an hour to get it. Service is slow and they weren't that busy. Do not waste your time coming here for brunch.

It was my daughters 22nd birthday, making a reservation made no difference, we were seated in the worst booth in the location, music way to loud!this place use to have country music now it was loud 80’s music and it was horrible! 30 minutes to get chips and guacamole! After complaining to the waitress she got a Mgr, he brought out and said sorry this is on me, the presentation was horrible, the bowl was 1/2 full of guacamole, chips didn’t even cover the platter. The Mgr really wasn’t empathetic and just said sorry I didn’t believe him. Food was terrible and this point we knew that this was not going to get better! For a birthday celebration it was horrible, I will never go back and being in the customer service and food industry for over 35 years I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Unfortunately my group of friends and I did not enjoy our experience at Sadddle Ranch - Costa Mesa. For how much staff and how not crowded the restaurant was, we received very poor service. We waited over an hour for our food and were not attended to very often considering it was Sunday brunch. We were seated on the patio and fully understand there were two large parties on the patio, but the manager only had one server helping the two parties and us, with each table having more than 15 people (we had 5) while inside was empty. We talked to the manager and were trying to be very understanding, but the manager did not seem interested in any of our concerns. He offered to send out desserts to make up for cold food we waited an hour and 20 minutes for (we were a party of 5). The waiter, Michael was trying his best to help us, but seemed to have no support. We even asked for the manager to come out with the bill because even the promised desserts never made it out and according to our waiter the manager didn’t have time to speak with us again. We appreciate the waiter’s effort, but see still very disappointed and will not be returning to this location.

There were four in our party and our food was brought one at a time. Who wants to eat alone when you are a party of four? We ordered sweet potato fries and regular fries. They were cold , nothing worse that cold greedy fries. Not going back

We had a reservation for 13 after 10 min we finally got a drink order, then no one came back to our table for an hour. Empty beer bottles and empty water glasses sat at our table for the entire 2 1/2 hours it took for us to get our food. The food was cold and the service and even the manager just didn't seem to care. What a shame. Hamburgers were like leather and the beef dip had about 3 pieces of meat that was like beef jerky. They were out of 4 of their side orders you choose from for your meal. They weren't even busy such a shame because the bull ridding was fun. They need to clean house and hire people who care about their customers.

The service was terrible. I had reservations at 11:15am, which I arrived on time for. They told me 10 minutes and didn’t seat us for a half hour after talking to the hostess twice. It took a half hour for them to bring us water. We had to go to the bar to get refills on water and drinks because our waitress was nowhere to be found. It took an hour for her to take our order. Then after talking to the manager twice, turns out they forgot our order. The manager never came to our table to make sure everything was fine. They sent shots of alcohol to our table that we did not want, charged us and then took it off the bill as our “compensation”. Really disappointed, I have been here before with no issues but I will not go back.

Had the worst experience here. Safe to say that we won't be coming back. The service was just purely awful. We waited about 25 minutes for a round of drinks and over an hour for food. The sad part was that they weren't even busy. I had to complain multiple times. We all had such a poor experience.

We love to come to your restaurant for birthday brunches. The bottomless mimosas and bloody Mary’s are always a big hit and my two little girls always look forward to the tall cotton candy cause they only get it once a year. We had these things in mind when we reserved our brunch for 8 this past Sunday. When we got in, part of our party had already been seated. We sat down and the server, we never received her name, but the receipt says Afrika, asked what we wanted to drink. We of course jumped on the bottomless mimosas and bloody Mary’s. She the said “well today, if your ordering those we are only doing the classic flavors. We won’t be doing any other flavors.” We were a little bummed, that’s what my husband wanted for his birthday, but it was a minor set back. We order the bottomless ones anyway. My friend asked if she could just order a mimosa, not bottomless, with any other kind of juice, orange juice gives her heartburn and the girl snapped and said “No!” No explanation. We just thought maybe she was having a rough morning. Throughout the meal she would walk up, smileless, no energy, and very bluntly ask if we needed anything. Then I started noticing at the bar, sets of mimosas, 6, 7, 8 at a time being made. ALL FLAVORS. I’m trying to understand a reason that other were able to order these but we were not, I keep telling my husband here must be a reason. Well -Lastly, she walked up and asked if we were thinking about desserts. My friend sitting closest to her said “yes, the girls were thinking of getting dessert!” The server then said “ok, but first for the bill- will you be splitting it? Cause we can only split it twice” We were all kind of taken aback and just said we wouldn’t bother her with splitting it, we’ll pay it on one card to make it easy. She turned and walked away! Brought back the bill, never said another word about dessert. So we lost the two things we were looking forward too and didn’t feel welcome at all at a place we loved.
