**Black Truffle Dinner Series begins January 26th- February 25th and the menu price will be $250 per person for food only. There is a 48 hour cancellation policy and a credit card will be required to hold the reservation. The Black Truffle menu will be the only menu available during these dates.

The most fantastic food & wine pairing I’ve ever had!!!
We went just before they closed for the remodel and it was absolutely fantastic.
Overall excellent meal and service. Attention to detail from A-Z ... very impressive and creative, fresh and clean flavors - simply delicious (even though there is nothing simple about this :) ! Looking forward to the new concept of this very talented young chef!

90 percent of the presentations were spectacular. The value, given a price fixe point of $150 was certainly worth it -- perhaps the most creative cuisine I have ever experienced. However, I was offended by the fact that there was an extra charge for minor additions such as sparkling water and expresso. Plus, the markup on the offered wine pairings were OUTRAGEOUS. I priced a couple of the individual offerings and found the mark ups to be 500-600% of RETAIL. Not really acceptable. Still, if price is no object (I still have to work for a living, unfortunately), you really can't get a better foodie experience ANYWHERE.
The service and food was excellent. One thing that should be an opportunity for improvement is the check in process. We checked in and was told that we didn't have a reservation. I had to show them my confirmation number and still they were not able to find me on their computer. There seems to be a disconnect between SAAM and the Bazaar in terms of reservations. There was another party at the restaurant who had the same problem and told me that this also happened last year when they tried to book and was not able to be seated.
We went there on my wife's birthday on a Friday night. The restaurant is inside the SLS hotel and it felt like a club to me, which was quite a different experience from other bars or restaurants. People made us feel special and SAAM is a restaurant inside the restaurant Bazaar. A very private dining room with seating capability around 8 different groups (2-4 people per group). The ambience was great. The service was exceptional. There were always two servers bringing the dishes to my wife and I and they were in sync. 20-course tasting menu was both delicious and a feast for eyes. I would suggest this to special occasions. It is totally worth the price.
This was our fourth time at Saam and each time has been unforgettable with incredible new menus. Brandon, the sommelier, was great in guiding us through our options and made some outstanding pairings. On a prior visit we brought my brother, who is vegan, and they accommodated him without blinking an eye. The food is spectacular and the whole experience is a real treat. We will definitely be back.
Amazing chef's tasting, as usual.
First 5 dishes were fantastic. As it went on, dishes went from omg wow - (Apple Meringue bread /straberry/fois gras/black truffle; UniBun;Ricotta Snow /hazelnut/Honey Gelee) - to ho hum(Fluke, waffles) to complete misses (scallop/cabbage/burratta, and the sorry excuse for overcooked washington state Wagyu (the mustard cavier was however really something special). Desserts were solid, impressive and flavours blended well. Wine tasting and pairings were also extremely good. Execution was flawless. That being said, Molecular Gastronomy is not easy, and the meal was the embodiment of the highs and lows achieved with quasi experimental cooking. Overall a top experience!
Loved 25% of the food--the rest was mediocre at best. We ordered the 22 course tasting menu with win pairing. One shrimp dish was "fishy". There were a lot of sweets and fried food incorporated into the dishes. The wine was AMAZING. As was the sommelier, Brandon. The only reason I do not regret this dining experience was because of the great wine choices and the service.
They made my son's birthday celebration spectacular!
The bar in the hotel on the way in and out, was hopping! A place to be seen! The restaurant had glass doors within the hotel, so we could be seen. The food was remarkable! Very creative! Exotic even. We joked about getting a hamburger & fry's afterward because each course was so small, but, in the end, after 22 small courses, we were full!

We went to eat a special black truffle course. Every dish is very fine and delicious.
We went to Saam on my birthday for the truffle tasting menu and it ranks up with French Laundry as one of the best meals we've ever had. Every dish was to die for and the service was on point. We had to wait 10-15 min to be seated but we got 2 free drinks (each) while we waited AND a free bite of food from the kitchen. HIGHLY recommended. Expensive dinner, but absolutely worth every penny.
Food was sub-par, taste wise wasn't anything memorable and some dishes were rather cold. Presentation was not bad though. Service felt pretentious and not genuine.

The chef's tasting menu is absolutely remarkable. It almost feel like the cooks are cheating with the ingredients. The flavors are deep and perfectly balanced in each course. I'd definitely come back to this restaurant.
Visited SAAM for the fourth time this weekend. Always an amazing meal. Love that they are utilizing the Coravin to provide by the glass access to some exceptional wines. The "white bread" was definitely a highlight. We always enjoy the playful nature of the food.
Such a wonderfully special experience. The food and staff are excellent. Looking forward to returning. Such interesting and excellent food.
The service is great and highly refined; the room is small but quiet even though the Bazaar restaurant is super loud and literally on the other side of the door. The place is nice to be in.
But ultimately, the food just didn't deliver on taste. Similar to other long tasting menu experiences of the Jose Andres restaurants, it ends up being all show, and not worth eating. There were a few dishes that did deliver both, but 3 out of 24 makes the whole experience really flat, and you kind of sit there wishing it would end already. The pastry chef did deliver though; her part of the meal was actually quite good.
why is this place not more popular! the food is outstanding! expensive might be the reason, but quite worth it.
Everything from the service to the food to the wine was amazing! Being we were celebrating a special milestone dinning here made it a very memorable one! Also the decor and ambiance was beautiful!
This place was very intimate and felt exclusive. It only seats 25 people and the room is completely separated from Bazaar. The shape of the room made us feel like we were in a cruise ship. The hostess actually has to walk you to the room to pass you on to your waiter which sits you in right away. The service was impeccable and very attentive.
The food was beautifully plated and was amazing. Although, there were a few things that were not my favorite but overall was delicious. The whole experience was a treat in itself. Would definitely come back again.
