Situated on Mayfair's Heddon Street, ideally located just a short walk from Piccadilly Circus and Oxford Street stations, we invite you to dine with us at our beautiful restaurant Rumours.

Our new Head Chef Aaron Thomas who has recently joined us from Atul Kochers 2AA rosette Hawkyns in Amersham and boasts other restaurants such as Claridges, Picture & Perilla on his CV will delight your palate with dishes in his signature style such as "Torched Mackerel with Buttermilk Snow & Fresh Horseradish," and "Grilled Quail with Charred Sweetcorn, Golden Girolles & Black Garlic." If you are lucky enough to catch a glimpse of him in the kitchen you may recognise him from Masterchef the Professionals Semi Finals where he impressed Jay Raynor, Tracey Macleod and other critics with his perfect cooking.

On Saturdays and Sundays we Brunch! Join us for a 2 or 3 Course set brunch menu with firm favourites such as Chicken & Waffles with Salted Chilli & Maple syrup or the ubiquitous Avocado on Toast.

We booked this a month in advance for my hen do and when we travelled into London, and it was shut! And I didn’t get any emails or notice that they were shut. I even phoned rumours and it went straight to voicemail. We had to find another restaurant last minute but this was a difficult task as it was a Saturday evening and a lot of restaurants were fully booked! This is not acceptable customer service. Absolutely appalling!

We arrived to a sushi only menu. One of the party is pregnant so we couldn’t stay to eat. When we asked for any service it’s like we were bothering them

The cocktails were nice but extremely expensive. There isn't a good range of food on the menu and outside dining was extremely noisy, though this was due to a protest, not the restaurant itself.

If I had known earlier that they would only have sushi available to eat I wouldn’t have booked it. I thought they’d have their actual menus. The waiter did tell us that their changing things because of the new reopening soon tho. But a bit annoying went their with my girls and only had drinks instead.

The menu was only sushi with 4 rolls,each 4 pieces £12 a roll. There was no sign or warning at time of booking that only dinner option would be the 4 roll options. Service was slow and music too loud.

The food looks better than it tastes, the pasta was undercooked and hard. We got through our experience with cocktails. There was a limited menu which I was not made aware if before I came. I will not be dining here ever again total waste of money, should have gone to Nandos
