   We reserved a table, turns out the it was not booked for afternoon tea. Bearing in mind it was the booking was for 3pm on Mother’s Day. The gentleman on the door was u willing to find a solution. From what we heard on the boat back, we dodged a bullet

   Lovely view. Lovely table by the fire. Lovely selection of cakes and sandwiches. Lovely ferry crossing. Lovely staff.

   We had our wedding reception at Ravens Ait 19 years ago and decided to return for the first time for the Father’s Day BBQ. It was so disappointing. We had to wait 45 mins for the food and it was cold when it arrived. For the price we paid, it was not worth it. The side of Potato Wedges were also cold. What a shame!!

   The setting here is absolutely beautiful on raven's ait island. unfortunately the food was so disappointing - luke warm BBQ food kept under heaters. The salads were also not very appetising - both the potato salad and pasta salad were quite stodgy and there was very little choice. (ie no rice salads or fresh ingredients like avocado, cucumber etc). At 12.95 is was expensive and we were very disappointed with the food, as well as the very loud 2000's pop music - we couldn't hear each other speak very well. The setting was wonderful - good bar, friendly, great boat journey, clean loos and best of all lots of games for the children like table tennis, jenga, hoola hoops - we had a wonderful afternoon - it was just the food that let it down. why not consider roast dinner? or hog roast and some really lovely salads and jazz or classical music - it could be so lovely.

   The staff were very accommodating and welcoming. The food arrived very promptly and as tasty and plentiful. My family and I had a lovely afternoon. Maybe they could do more with the island location for lunchtime. Children's play area, more obvious outside seating, outside bar? The table tennis table and Jenna were good ideas.

   This is a fine location, on an island in the Thames, and the young waiting staff were pleasant and helpful. This being said, there is nothing other to commend.

   spacious, great food, very child friendly and group friendly, great service . Venue with a difference, kids love the boat ride over to the island.
