El Rowley's, situado en la sede original de la carnicería Walls, en la legendaria calle Jermyn, mantiene vivo el encanto y la historia del edificio del siglo XIX que ocupa. El restaurante ha preservado los azulejos originales que cubren las paredes y cuenta con una iluminación tenue, que crea un ambiente relajado y confortable. El establecimiento ofrece un menú temático británico que cambia regularmente, pero siempre incluye el famoso filete de entrecote y la salsa secreta con mantequilla de hierbas que se mantiene caliente en la mesa gracias a un quemador. Nice restaurant setting but definitely not the best steaks in London. Very expensive! Even with unlimited chips. Service was excellent!

We arrived, seating in the window table. We ordered cocktails.. mine an extra dry Martini straight up . It came with so much vermouth that it even affected the colour of the Martini.. to give them credit they did replace it with a proper extra dry Martini straight away. We ordered appetizers.. burrata with peaches (excellent) chicken liver pate (very good ) but the low rating is for their Fish & Chips .. the chips were fine , the fish batter was almost black (looked terrible) and not sure the oil it had been cooked in had been changed in a long time.. l should have sent it back, but both of us ordered it, and we just decided not too.. we did order desert .. sticky toffee pudding which was very good.. it was a Tuesday night and the restaurant was not busy .. so no excuse for the fish & chips. We have eaten in other restaurants on the street ( all excellent) as we are on holidays & staying close by.. Tonight it’s the Riviera .. l am surprised no one has mentioned their fish & chips.. only good reviews for their steaks.. be warned!

Been before with our children when they were young and this time took my granddaughter for her 10th birthday. She loves Filet steak which was cooked to perfection and our food was also excellent. As it was my granddaughter’s birthday we were give a sticky toffee pudding and ice cream with a candle which was a very nice touch 😀

Un ristorante di livello eccezionale, non turistico, con una qualità del cibo e del servizio da 5 stelle. Ottima scelta di vini. Un menù corto e di qualità. Un elegante angolo di Londra da provare.

We have been eating at Rowley’s for many years. Every time we go it is a wonderful experience. Great food, great service and a nice old world feel. We will be back!
