Rossella is the pride and joy of owner and local Kentish Town resident Luca Meola, the result of family tradition dating back decades:

1960: the Meola family opened the first Rossella restaurant in Benevento, Italy, combining products from their family vineyard with their love for food.

1978: Luca’s father moved to the UK, made London his home and opened a trattoria where young Luca learned the ropes and discovered his talent for cooking.

2011: Luca seized the chance to open his own restaurant aged just nineteen, naming it after the original Rossella restaurant in homage to his roots, and was swiftly embraced by the Kentish Town community. Not only linked by name, they share the same family feel, passion for simple classic Italian dishes with fresh ingredients, not to mention wine from the same family vineyard in Benevento!

This is more than an event – it’s a chance to connect, eat & laugh with your local community. 📅 When: 1 PM - 7 PM 📍 Where: Rossella NW5 THE EXPERIENCE This is a day to sit shoulder to shoulder with friends, neighbours & even strangers – to share food, stories & moments you wouldn’t usually have in your day-to-day routine. Your ticket includes access to a delicious buffet lunch & desserts, packed with freshly prepared, seasonal dishes — all served outdoors at your pre-allocated seats along our beautifully set communal tables. We’re expecting a sunny summer day, but the event will go ahead rain or shine. A great selection of refreshing summer cocktails, wines & chilled drinks will be available to purchase — all served in safe, stylish reusable drinkware. ENTERTAINMENT & VIBES Live music throughout the day, roaming balloon artist for kids, the relaxed buzz of community life – all set beneath gazebos & the summer sky. Open to all. But space is limited – 250 tickets only. Ticket Prices: Adults (14 and over): £55 Kids (4–14 years): £35 Children under 4: Free (no seat provided – little ones are welcome to sit on a lap or explore the space) Please note: Ticket prices are non-refundable. It was Peter’s 90th birthday so this was a very special occasion. The minute we walked in the door we were greeted by reception staff who knew all about it. The evening was relaxing staff attentive and food as always delicious. Very busy. We had to wait a while for our main course but that was okay Thanks everyone at Rosella’s - we love your joyful service!

Fabulous venue. Been twice before and was perfect. However on this occasion we had a long wait for the food, one meal had to be redone as was overcooked and overall the food wasn't as wonderful as it had been. The meal that was redone wasn't charged for, which was appreciated, but the bill was still quite high for what we had. Would go back though as hoping this was just a glitch.

I ordered the mixed salad, which didn’t specify anything other than ‘mixed salad’. There was no mention of dressing/ingredients. Once the salad came, there was a lot of dressing so I sent it back and asked for it without. The waitress didn’t once apologise and was actually quite rude about it. She returned a few moments later with exactly the same salad. At this point I gave up, paid and left. Would definitely not go again.

Excellent service, in a good location - we sat at the counter, which was a really nice vibe. Food was superb - we shared some starters, and then had pizza/pasta main. All food felt really fresh, and the value was pretty good. Would recommend a visit if you're in the area or going to a concert down at the O2 Forum (which is why we went). Service was pretty quick so we didn't find ourselves having to look at our watches at all.
