Great customer service! Love the ambiance. Food was delicious.
Overall excellent experience.
The appetizer eggplant was very small . When we asked for more pita bread they brought out the pita but did not tell us there would be a cost of $6. The amount was removed when we saw the bill. The paella was good but different from paella from Spain . The ambiance is quite beautiful . I will go back with more than one other person to have a taste of the other dishes.
Outstanding and delicious Peruvian food! The paella was phenomenal and the Quita cocktail.
This place used to be wonderful but for the price, it’s lost its edge , quality, and ability to charge such high prices for lackluster food. Very cool vibe, the wait staff got a few of our dishes wrong and missed one entirely. They were very polite about it. We probably won’t be giving this spot another try, unfortunately. It used to be one of our favorites.
All around amazing. Food was top tier, drinks were phenomenal.
Our waiter was great.
Ambience is fun.
Excellent service, delicious food! They took the time to explain everything on the menu to us and even balanced our table when it was uneven. 100% would come again!
Best dish paella and short ribs.
Scallop ceviche in avocado surprised us.
Filet mignon disappointing. Almost no meat in it. They took it off bill.
The food is exceptional! Everything we had was very, very tasty and flavorful.
Our server was fantastic - his descriptions and recommendations were spot on, and he gave us just the right amount of attentive, we never felt forgotten nor rushed.
Also, very important those days - we requested an outside table, and that's exactly what we got. The tables are spaced out, covered on the road side and overhead.with thick plastic sheets, and completely open on the street side to provide plenty of airflow. There are lots of heaters to keep you warm.
It was a very pleasant experience and we will definitely go back soon.
The restaurant ignores the vaccine mandate requiring a check of vaccination status so I'd expect large numbers of unvaccinated patrons which is annoying. The host was testy with me when I called him out on it which was surprising for a high end restaurant in LA.
Otherwise, I loved the design aesthetic of the restaurant but it's extremely loud and and hard to carry a conversation.
The food was amazing, the Paella especially. And our server was amazingly attentive.
Great spot for dinner and drinks! Got the quita calzon mezcal cocktail , ceviche crocante to start, and shared the diver scallops and lomo saltado. Everything was fresh and tasted great, scallops and steak were cooked perfectly. Service was a little slow to start but they were very busy, we didn’t mind.
Amazing ceviche. We had a drink at the bar prior to getting seated and the bartenders were wonderful - really great service. We sat close to the back of the dining room, which was nice. I don't think any server knew we were there, though, because we sat for a good 15 minutes before having to ask someone to find us a server. After that everything was great. Really good food and great wines.
I was hoping to get authentic Peruvian cuisine which Iove. This was not the place this turned out to be an overpriced trendy place. The waiter actually told us not to order a third drink because he thought it could take too long. He obviously wanted us to leave even thought we were ordering much more food than most people around us. When the check came he added a 20% automatically without our approval. There were two of us. Since I was ready to leave I told my partner " I am ok with this, lets go". Will not be returning.
We had a great time at Rosaline! Beautiful ambiance, tasty food and nice staff. Highly recommend the restaurant and the Lomo Soltado!
Wonderful! Rosaline is one of my favorite spots in LA, every dish will impress. You can’t go wrong with the ceviche, diver scallops, and chaufa - while the Lomo Saltaldo is good, it is not very traditional, so just make sure you’re in the mood for an upscale take on this classic Peruvian street food.
The food wassss very salty
Food was very salty and most of the dishes came out cold. Service was great.
I really enjoyed our dinner, food quality was good as well as the drinks. The only concern was that it took forever to get water when we sat down and our appetizers did not come out first. One appetizer came, then one of our mains, then another main and last the second appetizer.
My only comment would be they didn’t ask for anyone’s vaccination status.
Great experience. Always has best ceviche and paella
I was at the opening of this restaurant 4/5 years ago. It delivers 100% if no more today! It was Fantastic!!!! Such a great LA find!!!!
Waiter was terrible
We sat outside as it was a bit packed inside. We had a lovely dinner.
Food was delicious and our server Levi was great!
Great ambiance, slow service, food was just ok. Definitely not the same level Picca had.
Perfect ambiance and delicious food! Highly recommend!
Delicious food with great service. The ceviches are great. Try the short ribs!
Food was amazing, service was amazing, had such a great night. Can’t wait to go back.
Everything was fabulous.
Loved the short rib! Paellella was just okay, not enough flavor.
Great food, great atmosphere. And according to my friends stumble out of the place…great drinks.
The food there is very delicious, although not truly authentic Peruvian. The portions are small but shareable. The atmosphere is fun and buzzy.
Fantastic food. Great ambience. Lovely and attentive servers. Tiny bit slow but it was very busy and we were a large party. Prices are definitely special occasion level. But worth a splurge every now and again
Amazing. Food was incredible.
The decor doesn’t match the price range. Uncomfortable wooden seats and really close - almost arm to arm - seating if you are a couple dining. The waiter, quite excited and energetic about the food, impeccably spoken with what sounds like nice suggestions. He surely gets you excited about the food.
The food - A COMPLETE disappointment unfortunately. The peppers were incredibly flavorful, then the Camarones were dry served with no sauce and nothing but a lime. The lomo salteado was extremely rich in flavor, not well balanced however and with maybe 5 pieces of filet so essentially you are eating potatoes and onions in a very unbalanced spicy sauce. The paella - was the opposite - completely flavorless - just burnt rice with some shrimp and Toni prices of sausages - we asked for soy sauce to liven up the flavor, but that didn’t do it either. We returned it. Wine selection was fine. The waiter was extraordinary. We sat in the patio and it was so hot, they don’t turn on the air conditioning until more tables show up. So we perspired for the beginning portion of our meal. Overall, a very average experience for an over priced menu that leaves you hoping you would’ve chosen a different destination. Not a fabulous experience at all. Disappointed!
52 min wait for drinks…
Food was poor - we didn’t eat most of it
