Open mic night was just too loud for the area trying to perform. With that being said the waitress was great and the food was good. Great roof top spot for a ocean view.

The Smoked Gouda Mac was amazing. 5 star for sure. The location was great. We sat around the fire and it was very comfortable although it was a cool night. We were there at night but I am sure during daylight there are some nice views of the ocean. The staff was nice. Our meals were ok, the vegetables and mashed potatoes were very good. We would go back to try some other items on the menu and for the Smoked Gouda Mac ofcoarse.

First I had a confirmed reservation using the open table app - confirmed by open table - for a party of 13 on a Monday. I drove an hour with a car load of guests to meet out of town guests to enjoy a sunset dinner only to find they were closed! Closed on Mondays! I finally got ahold of the manager who said open table couldn't get it straight. 13 people all standing outside wondering what to do. I guess I need to be more careful and not trust a confirmed reservation on OpenTable.

Very loud with bad acoustics. Couldn't hear the music over the noise. Couldn't talk over the music. Food was okay. Not terribly cozy. Patio looks nice with a view, but it was closed for a private party.

Was disappointed that nachos had fake cheese sauce instead of real cheese. Bathroom was still (under construction). Hopefully will improve with time since new.

Customer service and Food is great, we visit here a couple times a year. Me and my girlfriends favorite restaurant in San Diego.

No one checked is in so we just seated ourselves. We did get a dirty plate for appetizers but our server quickly replaced it and every other request we had, such as moving the umbrella around and changing the channel to show the Alabama college football game was also quickly met. There really was nothing else that I could complain about and that was minor and we weren't unhappy at all with our experience.

We had a 6:45 reservation and were promptly seated at a table with a beautiful view. After 15 minutes, nobody stopped by even say, "I'll be right with you." It was as if we were invisible. We got up and left. The manager told us to have a nice night on our way out.

Service could have been faster, but, overall, a good experience, although it does not overlook the Pacific Ocean, as suggested by its website. It has a distant view if you are seated on the street side.

I am not sure why there were reservations open on the site when the restaurant was closed for renovation during the week. Reservations should not be accepted.

I'm from Boston and used Open Table to find a casual, comfortable restaurant and we found it with the Prospect Bar. Hubby got strip steak and I got strip steak & avocado salad and both were fabulous! We weren't rushed, waiter was fantastic, piano player was relaxing and you couldn't beat the view!! So glad we found this place & we'll be back!!

This is not a restaurant per se. It's a bar with bar/comfort food. They have thrown into the mix a bowl of quinoa, but why order anything but their junk food, if that's what they do well? I ordered a Mac N Cheese with gouda, bacon and jalapeños. No heat, really fatty pieces of bacon and gouda. And I ordered with chicken. Decadent. I felt the guilt all the way into the next day.

I went on an open mic night. Some really loud singers but also some pretty good talent. This was a business meeting. If you are looking to 'talk over dinner' don't forget to ask if it's open mic when you make the reservation.

Had the seafood platter for a starter. Crab claws were grainy and non sweet, almost as if they had been thawed and refrozen several times. The cocktail sauce and shredded lettuce were hidden on the bottom of the crab cocktail... Surprisingly, the crab was bland as well. Underwhelming 6oz lobster, non delicate and stringy. Two glasses of wine, very generous pours. Miso sea bass, very good, cooked perfectly, yet both dishes served only warm, not hot. The dinners were served on top of my appetizers as if I was being rushed through my meal. Silverware served after dinners were placed down. Server said that he had a very slow day and seemed eager to get us out. Instead of showing us a desert tray, asked if we were done. With tip, the one hour experience for two cost 185 dollars. Definitely could spend that kind of money elsewhere for better service and food.

I found this restaurant on OPEN TABLE and was very pleased with the outcome. It had a decent view of the ocean and the breeze wasn't too cold. They had a band start playing around 9 which was a nice end to our evening. The salmon BLT was delicious. I will be ordering that again on my next visit. :)

The view is breathtaking and they have local musicians changing every 20min and that was beautiful! The food was great and very fresh! They didn't compromise on food which is amazing :-D
