Romano's Macaroni Grill - Colorado Springs
Fiancé’s Birthday celebration with our 3 kids. Service was wonderful. Food was good. Easy to get reservations for the family.
We had a great dinner at Macaroni Grill. Our waitress was nice and very helpful. I had Chicken Marsala and my husband had Chicken Parmesan. We have not gone to Macaroni Grill in a long time last time we went our son was 12 and now hes 28. but had a great dinner and would come back again.
Sorry but they are not ready for prime time
Opened too early
Clean neat and nice but food was soooo slow and was not cooked well at all
Have not been in over a year and was disappointed in serving sizes.
Not a good experience. Asparagus was burned, mashed potatoes were ice cold, and Mac and Cheese tasted like something out of a box dinner. Also, Caesar salads were swimming in dressing. It wasn’t a good night for them or for us.
First time we’ve been there and they were super short staffed but the two women which one was the host and the other was the cook, came out and helped everyone the best way they could. The food was ok, but I would go back just because of the customer service. Thank you again ladies!
My girlfriend got sick later un the evening, but we believe it to have been overindulgence or a previously unknown food sensitivity rather than bad food. Everything tasted great.
Loved my entree. And the service was endearing. Very good experience
Very few people in the restaurant due to CIV VID-19 restrictions but the service was very slow and the meals came to the table lukewarm. I would of thought that with the light workload everything would of fast and hot.
We really enjoy cooking here. We were seated promptly, and had excellent service the entire evening. The waitperson was excellent. We ordered several appetizers (brussel sprouts and calamari), both of which were outstanding! We both ordered the salmon, and I'd was amazing. Bring from the Pacific Northwest, we often have salmon, and this is some of the best I have ever had. Truly excellent! I am glad the restaurant is back to offering dining room service, and whenever I am in town, I make a point to go to the Macaroni Grill!
4 of us enjoyed a cold evening dinner. Lobster Bisque a new regular on the menu was very good. 2 shared parmesean chicken which was a long time staple for us. 2 more had Fettuccini Alfredo w grilled chicken is another favorite. Chocolate sundaes to cap the night.
Made a reservation on Valentine’s Day a week in advance. Showed up and had to wait an hour to be seated. Then was told that they were out of the Valentine’s Day dinner special. Asked to speak to the manager twice. They never showed. Server apologized and said nothing he could do. Crazy...
Our 6:30p reservation was seated until 7:30p and at 9p we left when our server told us there was “no timeframe for our food to be ready”. We were at this restaurant for 2 and a half hours before leaving hungry and settling for Burger King drive thru.
I am angry and feel that this establishment should not be under the open table app system.
I’ve already left a review on Google & the Grill’s website so the short story is that our reservation was not honored so we had to leave, unable to get another reservation on the last Valentine’s Day before we become parents... it was a big night for us, ruined by unprofessionalism & no attempt to make it right by management.
Valentine’s Day service was slow waited 1 1/2 hours for food; actually had to have food boxed up to go to make it to another engagement; manager comp’d our meals; will definitely go again just not on Valentine’s Day
Absolutely! It was a great way to spend our Valentine’s Anniversary Dinner.
The Italian food was great
Everything tasted wonderful....compliments to the chefs.
My wife ordered a roasted brussel sprout side dish that should have been $3.50 but we were charged $10.00 because they had brought the appetizer size instead and we didn't know the difference. Other than that, it was great.
Entrees came out before appetizers and not at the same time. Dessert was frozen still and soup was cold. Cost $200 for 2 adults and 4 children with one shared appetizer, 5 desserts, water for drinks and two people eating soup as their entree. The manager was aware, but did not offer to comp anything with all the mixups and timing, she simply apologized and refilled our waters.
Made reservations for Christmas dinner but they ran out of Christmas dinner before we got here
Edit 1: and beer
Edit 2: and meatballs
Edit 3: we’ve been waiting for our food for almost an hour.
Edit 4: finally got the food but the chicken is tough as a shoe.
Edit 5: the lasagna is not good either.
We were disappointed having made our reservations for the Italian Christmas Dinner to find out that someone had not planned well and they were out of the dinner and just had regular offerings!
We were so grateful to find Macaroni Grill open on Christmas since we were visiting Colorado Springs for the holidays. We were so glad we had made reservations on Open Table as the crowds were surprisingly large at 4:30 pm. The staff was very busy and at times seemed a bit overwhelmed but their attitudes were upbeat and they strived to serve all the customers even though they occasionally forgot things. We were pleased with our experience and the bill was reasonable, which allowed us to tip our server well for Christmas!
Never again on a holiday… They overbooked and understaffed for this event. They took reservations however made the event chaotic with walkins… Could have been planned better.
Took an hour and a half to get our food. 10 Grub hub came in and out while we sat there.
It was just what I expected it would be and that was - Wonderful, as always. I would definitely recommend Macaroni Grill to anyone looking for a delicious, reasonably priced meal in a restaurant with great service and great ambience.
Christmas Day with family
It took over an hour to get our orders and two of the entrees were cold when served. Our waiter was very apologetic and sent the manger to talk to us. The manger did end up comping our meal. The kitchen staff was apparently all new and they couldn’t keep up with the orders.
The service was poorly done the food was under cooked and the noise level was crazy
Good space for a larger party (we had 7 adults plus a 1-yr old/high chair). Food came out relatively quickly and was good quality and portions for the prices. Good for families too.
Went for Thanksgiving dinner. The turkey was cold and dry. The stuffing was runny. We waited thirty minutes for the dessert before asking them to box it up to go.
The Thanksgiving meal was very delicious! A complete meal with soup/salad, entrée with choice of side vegetable, and wonderful cheesecake with pumpkin sauce for dessert! Yum...
We went for our anniversary. We weren't greeted at the door for several minutes. Then we were left alone at our table for at least 10 more minutes before acknowledged or asked if we wanted water. Most of the special menu was gone, making us wonder why you even offered it. The appetizer we asked for was also gone. We waited halfway through our meal (my husbands had early been reheated at was cold in the middle) before our first beer came and finished before she asked if we were OK or wanted another drink. There were 7 tables filled and 14 people on staff that we could see. It was baffling. I mentioned on our reservation it was our anniversary and not one person congratulated us. What was the point is asking? Not even sure why I bother with the review. Just so disappointed
Our server was awesome but the food was terrible and the amount of it we received was not much for the price.
Our order was not correct when delivered. Service was very slow. Waitress and manager were not at all concerned that we were not happy with the service and incorrect order/billing.When told we were not returning they said"Oh well". Entire staff need customer service training and what repet customers mean to a business.
Food was fair. Service left a lot to desired. Atmosphere is good.
i wish you were closer. we always went to your north location. traffic is very bad where you are. we don't go very much now.
The service was terrible. Food was not as it used to be.
They weren't that busy when we got there but nobody was at the front door. Our table wasn't set up so we had to wait for that. Our server was helping another 7 top so it took her awhile to get to us. She was very nice though. I ordered the Tomatoe Bique soup, which was really good and was served hot. I had the Mac and Cheese for dinner. It was hot but salty and really wasn't that good. The 'breadcrumb' topping was like 4 pieces of cut up bread crust. I sent it back and just got more soup. My friends ordered the Lobster Bisque soup, which was very salty a well. They were unable to eat it and sent it back. Their entrees were ok. The server was good with filling our drinks and bringing more bread when we asked for it.
We never once saw a manager the whole time we were there. We would have thought one would come by after the soup incident and for SURE after I sent my entree back, but no one ever came by.
The whole thing was just an unpleasant experience and we won't be back.
After over an hour we still didn’t get our food. The one salad we did get was very watery.
Asked for 2 different choices and they said they were out of both.
Finally talked to a manager who apologized and gave coupon.
Left hungry and frustrated
Of 6 of us, 4 had cold food. Extremely poor taste, but good and friendly service.
