We could not have enjoyed our dinner more! We were celebrating a special occasion as a family and it was so fantastic. Food and drinks were great for all 5 of us so try anything! Every single staff member was great and we certainly enjoyed Nancy as our server. She really helped make our night special and even gave us a quick history of the place. I can’t say enough go and I’m not a big review writer so go and enjoy!

Lovely ambience on deck overlooking the golf course. Numerous lunch choices settling on Salmon BLT with side salad that filled the plate accompanied by delicious homemade ranch dressing. Server very attentive!

Food was exceptional! My husband tried the Meatloaf - Pages Italian special and I ordered the Mushroom Stuffed Ravioli and shared a warm Brownie a la mode to finish 🤤- all very highly recommended!! We chose dine on the outdoor covered patio and as always the view was perfect. The staff is always top notch providing exceptional service and dining experience..

Less than positive 1st impression as super crowded/noisy entry made getting seated almost impossible. Once that was navigated, things improved greatly with the quiet patio table and the pleasant service of Nancy. Disappointing, could not get a smoked old fashioned, but the drink itself was well made. The meal was very good and surpassed expectations. Fish sandwich was fresh and hot, as were the fries. The Cuban was the real winner- a Chef's twist with a specially created sauce that was excellent, and the side potato salad was handcrafted. Managed to squeeze in a slice of pecan pie- and it was close to perfect. Filling not to sweet, crispy pecans topping, a great ending to an above average meal. Well worth the money, well worth the drive - but call before you go because hours/days are slightly odd.

Rocky Face was a recommendation of a co-worker. So, I arranged Date Nite with my wife for both of us to experience together. Alyson was our server. She was prompt, friendly, and accommodating. She answered our menu related questions and her service was very positive. We will definitely be back and take family and friends with us.

Food was terrible. I ordered Cevice as an appetizer. It tasted like fish that was 3 days old & had a texture thast was soggy. Definitely poor quality & I sent it back. For entree,I ordered stuffed flounder which consisted of 1 very small slice of pre frozen flounder and a stuffing that was tasteless & mushy. The side of mac& chees was ok,but the 2nd side of fried okra was another tasteless item. My wife had the chicken which she rated it a "7," but the "grilled vegetables" were nothing more than a can of tasteless stewed tomatoes with a few pieces of squash thrown in. the caesar salads were very good,but did not make up for the poor entiesand sides. Wait staff did her best ,but she appeared to have too many table to service. Atmosphere is nice,but the lousy food ruined the dinner.

A hidden gem! We were staying in Waynesville and looking for something we hadn’t tried before. Stumbled on Rocky Face Tavern on Open Table and with 4.9 stars, we thought it would be worth the drive to find out! It didn’t disappoint! We had an outdoor table with a beautiful view, excellent service, amazing drinks and food! The quiche/salad plate and the crab Benedict was fantastic! Great selection of beers and wines! We will be back!

We have enjoyed all our visits in the past, and this outing was no exception. 4 of us went for my wife 's birthday. The service was exceptional,; however, the food was good, but not to their usual standards. I had Paige's meatloaf with roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes. My wife and a friend had the Mahi Mahi special with roasted vegetables and smashed potatoes. The Mahi Mahi was well prepared and delicious; however, one of the smashed potatoes served was scorched. The other member of our party reported that the stuffed flounder was very good and his Caesar salad was perfect. We were served on the deck with the golf course and mountains providing a lovely view. It was sporadically noisier than usual, but not unpleasant. We were welcomed by the manager and served by most of the staff ensuring we felt welcomed and appreciated.

ordered steak & frits special for me. Frits were barely warm.ditto for the steak. Wife had lobster ravioli which if it had lobster in it we couldn't find it. Bothhad caesar salad wicich was very good. Ordered deviled egg appetizer. Had some kind of pink mayonase which was ok,but I have had much better Young lady of about 19 0r 20 was an outstanding server. Don't remember her name.

I like t h e space. No vegan options … so be prepared . Vegetables Ariana can get by. They do have pimento Mac and cheese. Non vegetarians had salmon and the other had Beef tips and all thins up. The goat cheese app is really yums. Did I mention I love the space. New, clean and if you are into design and architecture then it’s a solid new restaurant in Haywood.

My wife and I came here for our wedding anniversary and had a wonderful time. We were seated ahead of schedule in a nice quiet space on the 18th green. The restaurant is beautiful, spacious and charming. The service was excellent, the food delicious and overall we had a wonderful time. We highly recommend it and look forward to coming back in October.

Made dinner reservations here for my husbands birthday. Restaurant is very pretty with great views of the mountains. All of the staff were very friendly, including our wonderful waitress Norma. This restaurant is in a beautiful golf resort nestled in the mountains. We drove about 20 minutes from Waynesville where we are vacationing. The decor and ambience is excellent. The food was very good, and a reason to return, but the service was terrible. From what we could see, there was enough staff present and other tables were getting regular attention. My wife and I are very forgiving of servers because it is a tough job, but this experience was simply not acceptable at any restaurant, let alone one that is more upscale like this. Server didn’t introduce herself, just set down water glasses and bottle of water without filling the glasses. She returned later and took our order (cocktails, entrees with salads). She was also working a table of four next to us who got their drinks, then appetizers, then salads. Meanwhile, she didn’t stop at our table to check on us or refill our glasses (I am fine doing this myself but attentive servers do this). I had decided to tell her to cancel the drinks when I got her attention. Just before I could do that, another server came with our entrees, and was surprised we hadn’t gotten our salads. Our server then walked up with our cocktails. She said she’d take care of our salads and went to the kitchen. She returned with our salads about 20 minute later after we had finished our entrees. I sent mine back as I didn’t want it after my main plate. She gave a quick apology and left. We had to flag her down again to bring the bill. No comment and no credit due to the service issues. Our copy of the bill was for the adjacent table. I see many other reviews that are very positive, so I think we just had the misfortune of having a poorly trained or simply bad server.

Definitely a great experience for our dining our two guests greatly enjoyed there meals we have already booked for next Friday night for a party of 8 bringing more friends for a first time meal. I do hope the new male bartenders can speed things up and process orders in line as they are taken our only complaint.

The restaurant is gorgeous. The setting in the mountains surrounded by the manicured golf course is amazing. The food was very good and our waitress was charming. The only drawback was flies coming from the open door to outdoor dining.
