Good food, well priced and good service. Also easy to get to.
Great service and delicious food. Quaint space for a couple or small group.
Service was excellent and food was very tasty but portion sizes were a bit on the small side, e.g. roast potatoes was one large potato quartered length ways but you only got three of the quarters. Who ate my other quarter?
Prices were more expensive that the menu e.g. Sea bass here is £13.50 but was £21.50 when we got seated and given the menu so value was not what we expected.
Nice evening, cosy setting and handy for Southbank but hit my wallet more than I expected based on what is listed here. 3/5.
My nephew and I had lunch here before a walk on the Thames Path. It's a casual, friendly, popular restaurant with really lovely staff and good service. Quiet enough to have a conversation, bright, and very pleasant atmosphere. Would certainly come here again.
Very friendly staff and good food - this is a nice choice for a relaxed Italian meal.
Great spot for those looking for a variety of Italian food. The staff was extreamly welcoming upon arrival and very friendly throughout. I found some items a little over priced. I got the special Ravioli for close to 16GBP and for the cost I was expecting a bit more. It was still extreamly delicious though. Would highly recommended for anyone looking for a quieter spot a little off the main streets.
The staff were so welcoming and kind and gave us everything we needed. The food was fantastic and had I had room, I would have eaten triple the amount!
Very disapppointed as we booked based on all the positive reviews. We had undercooked pasta with little sauce to justify high prices (higher than on website). The owner was there but only spoke to Italian clients even though we were one of 3 tables taken. We weren't asked about how the meal was and no comment made when we sent back full dishes.
Enjoyable OK restaurant. Food was good but we found it pricey when there was nothing exceptional about it. Service was good if s little slow.
Our third time back in two months. Why return- good food, great welcome.. Not an exhaustive wine list or menu but you dont need it- everything on offer is good quality and carefully curated for a great dining experience. Thanks for making three evenings very enjoyable- good value for money and very close to Lambeth North Tube/Imperial War Museum
Really enjoyed dinner here, service got a little slow when they got busy, but friendly staff more than made up for it. Great food
Very friendly and welcoming staff, dimmed lights made for nice setting for dinner. Very well decorated upstairs but toilets downstairs need renovation big time.
The ambience of the restaurant is nice and I would recommend it to the couples or group of people as tables organised in split seconds, service and food are okay.
We went in late on a Friday night and everyone was so accommodating and friendly. Fabulous service and great food served quickly. Had booked somewhere else the Saturday but they had an issue with their kitchen, so back to Riverside 2 and they fit us in despite being about to close. Again the steak wonderfully cooked and tasty. We would definitely go back on our return to London. Thank you.
Lovely dinner, food great, service friendly and nice restaurant - thankfully cozy and warm (hate drafty places). Would go again happily and definitely recommend
Excellent service and very friendly staff with excellent food
Great service!!
Service us excellent! And the food is really good. I recommended
Nice quick tasty meal prior to theatre and local to the hotel.
Food was lovely. service was great. The wine and beer was a bit pricey in comparison to the rest of the food menu, £4.80 for a small bottle of peroni is quite steep. £28 for rose, and only one option. the food was great however. There was 8 of us, bill came to £320 in total including drinks, starter and main. i'll let you decide if thats good value or not but we enjoyed ourselves and the staff are very helpful.
We had walked past the Riverside several times and decided to try it. The welcome was as warm as anywhere. We were made to feel more than welcome. The service was friendly and attentive. The place was quite busy which is always a good sign. The food was average but we ought to gave plumped for the Italian dishes so we will return to sample. I would recommend to others.
Dishes are expensive, 12,5% more tax on the bill.
We booked a table for 3 people on the Opentable internet site but the waitress did not seem to know. She placed us at the worst table next to the bar and in the drafts of the door.
The pieces of meat on pur plate are very smalL
I asked a glass of water with my dish but I never had it.....
From the Moment we arrived to the moment we left everything was fantastic
Very pleasant and helpful staff. Plenty of variety in food choice and price range on menu. An fun place!
We had an enjoyable meal here. Tasty and well-prepared. Good range of wines. The range of gluten-free options for my companion were somewhat limited, though.
Great service and wine. Was not a fan of the pizza, but the pasta and the fish were top notch. Portions were generous and prices reasonable. Will definitely return when we are in the area.
Hidden gem with excellent food at a reasonable price
My nephew and I were visiting London with a tour group. We had the evening to ourselves so we googled for near-by restaurants and found Riverside 2. We easily made reservations via internet and were greeted by name when we arrived for dinner. The staff was wonderfully friendly and helpful and the food...the food was excellent and we had a very short wait time for the food to be served. The staff checked on us but didn't drive us crazy by checking too often. Billing and tipping and payment were quick and easy. My only sad part is that there is no Riverside 2 in my neighborhood in the states.
Great venue for a work meal with friends and colleagues. Good service, good food, great limoncello at the end!
Pre-theatre meal - service was very attentive but the food was average and not great value for the price
Buon ristorante italiano, locale carino vicino metro lambeth morto personale cordiale piatti buoni prezzi onesti.
It’s our first meal after landing UK. Staff so friendly ! Everything is fantastic!
Good atmosphere. Tasty foods. Nice wine. Staff nice and friendly.
The portion is slightly big for tiny ladies like us, but great value for money :-D
Definitely visit there again.
Superb service and great food at a good price!
Awesome place. We thoroughly enjoyed everything from salads to desserts. Owner was very welcoming. I can’t wait to go back!
The staff were lovely, the waitress was very happy and bubbily which made the evening even more magical. The food was delicious to say the least (date had steak and I had spaghetti bog), they were made with love.
We were made very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Our 6 year old grandson was really well looked after. Food was good value for money.
This restaurant looked decent online and looked fairly upmarket. When visiting the restaurant it was not at all what was expected. Tables looked cheap and overall vibe was lacking. Service was okay, but did forget to add my order to the rest, so ended up eating alone & i was still charged. I would only visit this restaurant again if i was passing by and needed a quick meal.
Good food, friendly service & great value for money considering.
Service was quick and the pizza was a good size with nice, crispy base.
From start to finish we had the most excellent, friendly and warm service. We ordered the clam linguine and there was a shortage of clams so we were treated to a delightful substitute packed with other seafood to pad it out. It was delicious and we felt really comfortable and happy there. Will be back!
