THE BEST WHITE TABLECLOTH RESTAURANT IN NAPLES!
LAST OF THE SOPHISTICATED UPSCALE RESTAURANTS.
I would have given the food a “5” however my veal chop, though flavorful was on the fatty side. Julian, our waiter did a fantastic job and the Chef even came out and prepared my wife’s special dessert table side. Would highly recommend.
Wonderful food and service. The Short Ribs and Osso Buco were exceptional. Sitting outside on the sidewalk on 3rd Ave was quieter than you would think. Hope to go back soon to try some other items.
So sorry to hear they are closing their doors as of May. This restaurant had become
one of my favorites this 2021 season!
One of Naples best Italian restaurants. The ambiance is more like a Wisconsin Supper Club rather than what you expect to see in downtown Naples, but everything on the menu is excellent! It was a little noisy the day we were there because there was a large group sitting next to us, but that's something that just happens sometimes no matter where it is. Service was great too!
Had a very nice meal with friends here...our server was great and the food was very good. They have outside seating - located just a block off 5th Ave it has a very pretty view.
A true neighborhood gem...traditional favorites with authentic Italian chef Gianfranco! Carol and staff always welcoming and tables are spaced apart for comfortable dining during these times. See you soon! My Chicken Marsala with ANGEL hair pasta substitution was delicious with the Marsala sauce!! 🤗🤗
We had a lovely evening at Ristorante Ciao—quiet and off the beaten path as others had suggested. Our server Reese gave us good recommendations for wine and food and was appropriately attentive all night. I already knew I would have my favorites carpaccio and Osso Buco and both were outstanding. My boyfriend took the suggestions of the pan-fried calamari with Parmesan and the pounded veal chop and enjoyed them both. The complementary dessert for my birthday was yummy and appreciated.
Josh, our waiter, was amazing. The food was very good. Classic Italian food with great bread and awesome olive oil!
Excellent experience Saturday night. Calamari and mussels were delicious. Osso buca, chicken piccata and fettuccine ciao were all delicious. Bellinis were great as well. Sat outside on a beautiful Naples night with plenty of shade from the big tree. We will definitely be back.
Six of us thoroughly enjoyed our dinner! The service was attentive without being too much and the food was very good...as we have always experienced at Ciao’s. Love the “old school” white table clothes. A wonderful Tried and True in Naples.
Wonderful, as usual. Chef Gianfranco’s creations are the best! Loved the new pistachio cake!
We come for just a month each year and always get to Ciao three times It’s clearly our favorite Naples restaurant and Natalie is the very best server anywhere!
First time at this restaurant. So happy we found this place. Everything was perfect. Service, food and ambiance and value. My Fettuccine Caio was delightfully perfect. Will go again and again! ❤😋
Outstanding food and service . Always a treat .
Excellent food and service. Everyone warm and welcoming. Josh is a most professional, knowledgeable waiter. A special restaurant!
Our favorite authentic Italian restaurant in Naples! Never disappoints!
Wonderful experience overall. Out of town guests are still raving about the evening
Food and service was excellent!
This was our first visit and it was fantastic. We sat outside on a lovely evening and the service was perfect at a pace that we set - we weren’t rushed and we were able to enjoy the delicious pastas and main courses. The veal chop Milanese was awesome as was the variety of pastas. Delicious deserts - just an awesome experience. It is at the top of our list of Downtown Naples restaurants.
Ambiance is very nice. Service is very good and we didn't feel rushed at all. The chicken picatta and veal marsala were excellent. The only negative thing I could say is that the portions are small. After a glass of wine, salad, dinner, and dessert I was dissapointed I wasn't taking any leftovers home.
We love this restaurant.
Service is wonderful!
The Veal ravioli is superb
they serve great martinis and their Baby Amarone by the glass is very good.
Our dinners were exceptional as always and we were blessed to have Natalie as our server. Always our favorite!
Fabulous and beautiful
We have this location for the first time the food was excellent I must try the calamari was superb and I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Had a very good meal at Ciao, server Autumn was prompt and helpful. Started with calamari. Wow...best I have ever had. Not the typical fried circular calamari with tomato based sauce. The strips of the calamari were thicker and pan fried. The sauce made the dish, delicious. I had the Osso Buco, it was excellent, especially notable was the risotto accompanying the main course. My wife had the veal parmigiana. It was fine, but I don’t think it was much different than the norm. All in all, an excellent experience. Highly recommended the calamari! and Osso Buco.
Really enjoyed the service - prompt but relaxed when appropriate. Knowledgeable wine service. Nice choice of wines and the menu is very traditional Italian. Having lived in Italy I view this as a blessing. While I enjoy the creativity of other Naples Italian restaurants, it is sometimes just nice to come ‘home’. Prices are reasonable too. This was our fourth visit in 2 years. Consistent.
This is a wonderful restaurant. The food is delicious, carefully prepared and creative.
The service is some of the best i've ever had including at michelin starred restaurants.
Lovely homey yet elegant.
Great service...great dinners...great ambience. Quaint.
Great food and service. A gem in Naples
Exceptional service, great food and value. Just one block off 5th Avenue.
Excellent as always! ❤
Wonderful food and superior service. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
One of our favorite restaurants in Naples. A very experienced and well trained staff always thinking of a customer first. They must visit if you’re new to Naples
Terrific find. Wonderful food and service. This is excellent, well prepared no frills food like we would expect to get in Italy. Just outside the 5th Ave craziness to nice and quiet sitting outdoors. The interior of the restaurant looked very nice but that will be for some other time.
One of our favorites. Great food and very good service every time we go.
Always enjoy the wine selection.
Always excellent! Great menu, and specials. `Gianfranco is the best.Home made pasta is outstanding.
