Riccio's Steak & Seafood
For the casual diner, Riccio’s offers a relaxed patio presentation for watching downtown Palm Springs unfold while sampling their intriguing, seasonally changing menu. Riccio’s bar faces lively Palm Canyon Drive, and picture windows frame a sculptural fountain.
The desert's top steak and seafood restaurant. Come taste why over 40 years of customers keep coming back to this downtown landmark.
We went to Riccio's and I had the New York steak and my husband had the special which was halibut. Both were excellent. Steak was cooked perfectly to how I like it. Halibut was also excellent. It was our first time there and we will return for sure once we can. Our server was a women and she was awesome. I don't remember her name. Great service, great food, great outdoor seating.
Excellent!
last min reservations were needed and they made it possible. It was my wife and I first time there. all of the staff was perfect! my wife had the Halibut and I had the Cowboy steak. We shared from each other dishes. The Halibut was the BEST. The Cowboy steak was more like a Flatiron steak with a lot of fat, which I am not a fan of. But the steak was cooked perfect as per my request, so had eaten most of the steak and then asked for a box to take home to my dog, which she was so happy to have. I will recommend to all to try Riccio's!!!
Fantastic food and service! Jaime was awesome! We will be back every time we are in Palm Springs!
We have been going to Palm Springs for 45 years and never eaten at Riccio’s. It was the only place we could get a reservation for Friday night so our hopes weren’t too high. Wow! Food was delicious and the service was fantastic. We will definitely go back. Thanks for an enjoyable dining experience.
Oscar provided impecable service. The Martinis are the best in town. Food was amazing. We'll be back.
Food did not taste good and was not well cooked. The steak was overly well done, the lobster Ravioli and Clam Chowder was watery.
I did think the Oysters were really good. Staff was super polite, present, and did a great job.
Unfortunately COVID causes us to sit on the street so the ambience wasn’t great, but that can’t be held against the restaurant
I think if they clean up their cooking this could be a solid spot.
The Chicken PIccata was fine, the service outstanding (thanks Oscar). Great martinis (love the sidecar). Their patio is nice and the noise level is relatively low.
One of my go to places in the desert. Perfection at its best. From service to dessert.
Fun place, great food great service dining al fresco in Palm springs on a beautiful night. Love the ambiance.
Anniversary dinner night. First time here. Wine and drink prices were extremely reasonable. So much so it is worth it just to come for drinks. Food was good. Nothing to right home about. Could have used a little more seasoning in the dishes. My wife had the Paella and I had the Cannelloni. Both just seemed a little bland. No bad just a little bland for my taste. I'm italian so I was expecting a little more "kick". We will be back. Service was great and great atmosphere for people watching if your sitting outside (we were).
Food was terrible. Blandest mashed potatoes. Terrible cocktails. Servers made us feel like they didn’t want to be there. Asking for another glass of wine and the response felt like I was asking them to go do a chore. Not a great birthday dinner at all.
Food was just ok. I honestly would not go back though for the price.
Ordered the calamari app and it was very chewy.
The entrees that came with the mixed veggies looked like they were veggies out of a bag. The potato’s were yummy though.
Filet mignon was not a good cut of meat. Very veiny.
Had to ask for bread and lemon slices 4 different times before getting them. I ordered paella and it had 1 shrimp, 1 scallop that they sliced to make it look like more, a few tiny chunks of salmon, a few clams. (I asked for no mussels and they usually throw in an extra shrimp or something, not this time)It was drowned in a tomato sauce and was nothing like any paella I have ever had. The tiramisu was really good though!
Our first time here. Food and service was superb. Will visit again.
GREAT SEAFOOD AND SERVICE LOVELY QUITE PLACE THE SERVER WAS NICE I WILL BE COMING BACK NEXT TIME IM IN PALM SPRINGS
Dinner was great. Service was amazing. Friendly staff and great food
Excellent food! Fantastic service. Everything was top notch!
Try not to get a table too close to Palm Canyon. The service was good and the food was good but not great.
As regulars, we had a new waitress that knew the menu and made great recommendations! We love the outdoor patio and sit there when we can.
Perfect service and the food was amazing, this place made our anniversary special thank you
Wonderful experience! Great service, delicious food very accommodating
Very pleasant dining experience with a warm and friendly wait staff. Varied menu with plenty of choices. Lovely sidewalk-proximate location.
The Water was the best thing about the food
Paella was tomato paste over rice and left over sea food and chicken slices
The mussels were over cooked
Not worth the price
I wanted to like this place so bad, but they made it very difficult! We were seated at 8pm, but didn't have our orders taken or were visited by our waiter until I had to call a server of another table, and ask them what was taking so long. Our order was taken twenty-five minutes after being seated, and after two different parties who were seated well after us had already had their orders taken and their drinks served.
Aside from that, the staff was hardly apologetic, and the food wasn't even good enough to justify its prices. The risotto was over-salted, the Tuna Steak was over-cooked, the veggies were not seasoned at all, and my steak was prepared Medium Rare when I requested Medium-Well. To top it all off, we were seated at the one table in the outdoor dining area that wasn't covered by misters so it was insanely hot. The only redeeming factor of this experience was that the Sangria was goodl
Nice quiet place to unwind and enjoy a glass of wine and a well prepared meal. The menu is primary Italian, but you have many other choices. We all shared the calamari and it was cooked correctly and the breading had just the right amount of spices. My buddy had a filet, which he said it was outstanding-he ate every bite. I tried the spaghetti bolognese, I took some home and enjoyed it, the next day!
When in Rome, do as the Romans do…eat pasta! We ordered two steaks. both were freezer burned, dry...only ate two bites...$80 wasted.
We were celebrating our 1st anniversary. It was a pleasant, enjoyable dinner.
During the Covid era, this was perfectly lovely. The staff was friendly and attentive. We both had pasta dishes - delicious and generous portions which we had leftovers to take home. It got a little warm since it was outside in mid summer, but tolerable. These folks are great and the food was delicious, prepared nicely & worth a revisit.
Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and celebration of my dads 88th birthday. New York strip was cooked perfectly as well as the vegetables. Pork chop was moist with a delicious mushroom sauce. Service was impeccable. Thank for a great dinner. Dad was very happy!
We loved the calamari and the steak. The scallops were very good too.
Great even outside patio seating during the Covid era
We were celebrating our 10th anniversary. The service is great, just watch out for the birds!
Wouldn’t recommend .
Aside from servers constantly questioning me why I'm sitting at the table with my party after I was told to be seated (with a reservation), I can understand why they were concerned about seating due to COVID. Overall it was a great dinner.
The food was delicious and definitely deserved better ambiance. The wait staff were very good at their jobs. Super prompt, polite and gentile. The food was delicious, well balanced amount of food, great drinks and wonderful service. In my opinion the only two things I would change: 1. Location
2. Amount of
Food was ok! Our steaks were over cooked but the sauce and sides were great. They didn’t assign us a server right away but once we got one she was really nice and gave us a free dessert when she heard our steaks were over cooked.
I will as hoping for better. Everything was just okay.
Newly re-opened restaurant. Much is to be forgiven; grateful they were dine-in. Sangria excellent and Syrah reasonable and nicely priced. Cannelloni tasty, but improperly sauced. Penne vodka well liked (perhaps include a meatball or sausage among offered meat enhancements). Fresh Alaskan halibut not grilled as ordered, but a nice entrée portion. Sauce (unsuccessfully requested held) hopeless. Vegetables (broccoli and carrots) a mixed success. No dessert or coffee.
Many service errors, but friendly staff. New corona rules make for a pretty barren table. A return might be possible for the sangria, which was a real hit.
Great place .great food .great staff great prices
