We stopped in for lunch on our way home from Lake Tahoe and I am so very glad we did! Our server was extremely kind and gave us just the right amount of attention. She also made some very good recommendations on the menu. The food was fabulous. And, then there was the wine! It was too bad it was lunch and that we were driving (well, I wasn't driving...!) but, what a find, this small place makes 4000 cases of wine annually and they are good! Quite a few are even GREAT! Get in there! You don't know what you are missing!

My husband and I went to Revolution Wines for our Anniversary. We had reservations, but it was a Tuesday night, and the indoor seating area was not particularly busy. It did take a while before anyone came to us to take our order, but once we started ordering the service was great. We enjoyed the flight of red wines (especially the syrah and zinfandel), and the cheese and charcuterie plates. My only comment is that the salad that came with it was unexpectedly spicy and had something of an unpleasant dressing. Also surprisingly spicy were the almonds that came with the cheese plate. These were "mouth on fire" spicy, and I certainly didn't expect that on a cheese plate. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our dinner. We will definitely be back.

A truly unique spot. An urban winery in the heart of Sacramento. Very good wines, pleasant staff. I even got to meet the wine maker. Food is a great value, very tasty. I went a lunch on a week day, so it was very quiet. Not from the area, so won't be able to check out their events and evening fare. Highly recommended to the locals - if you haven't been there and enjoy wine and good food you are really missing out -

Our time was made very enjoyable by Tory, who welcomed us upon arriving, brought menus to our outdoor table, made wine suggestions, gave opportunity for tasting wine to help with selection, brought our beverages and foods, and was friendly fun all around! Thank you Tory for helping make our Saturday afternoon experience pleasure-able! 😃

Anything on the happy hour menu is good. We made the mistake of ordering from the regular menu. The mac n cheese we thought sounded delicious was not.

A friend of mine had recommended Revolution Wines and I decided to book a table for lunch for my husband's birthday. When we walked in I was a bit put off by the decor thinking I had picked somewhere WAY too casual to celebrate. But my friend highly recommended it, so we stayed. Boy were we pleasantly surprised! We had the cheese plate, the BLT sandwich and the charcuterie plate. Everything was presented nicely, and was so tasty! The cheese plate and charcuterie plate had some of their cajun nuts on them. Those are little gems! I was afraid with that name they'd be too spicy, but they weren't at all. We also tried the following wnes: Albarino, St. Rey Celeste and Renzo. They were all good in their own way. We liked the St. Rey Celeste so much we ended up buying a bottle. The place was low key, but the chef clearly knew food, and the wines were tasty! We will be back.

We were treated to a visit of the winery, loved seeing the work in progress and tasting a barrel of the new Savignon Blanc. Yummy. The food, we tried small plates - loved them all. I am still obsessing about the bruchetta with apple, prosciutto, and a marvelously flavored ricotta that I am going to have to reproduce because we live to far to go back weekly. If I lived in Sacramento this would be a regular for me. It's not fine dining, it's fine noshing!

Although the wine choices are limited, this is a great place to meet friends for after work wine and small bites. Happy hour unitl 6 is a great bargain.
