   Una desagradable sorpresa 1- Chilende agua con picadillo de pollo capeado, lo cual no está especificado en el menú. Alérgico al huevo. 2- Pechuga de pollo con mole. La proteína CRUDA aunque el mole muy rico La justificación fue “que no estaba la chef”. En fin. O es mala suerte o es malo siempre este lugar recomendado por la Guía Michelin

   La comida tiene buen sabor pero que la pasta solo traía 4 camarones la verdad que no nos pareció, pedí un mezcal y pregunté si me podían dar naranja para acompañarlo, me dijeron que irían a revisar y pues nunca me dieron respuesta. Al pagar nos dijeron que solo se podía dividir la cuenta en 2 partes máximo lo cual nos pareció extraño ya que éramos 3 y cada quien pagaría su cuenta, el chico que nos cobró no fue amable desde el momento que le dijimos que dividiríamos la cuenta en 3 y no era opción dividirlo en dos.

   We arrived just fine and we got a good table by the window. Everything was starting well until we ordered. We ordered a mojito with mezcal but got some lime mixture with sugar and mint. They should have said that they didn’t have the ingredients for it. We would have ordered a different drink. We ordered appetizers and a main dish but they decided to bring everything all at once. The experience felt very rushed as though they were trying to close up. Which felt particular strange to us considering that our reservation was at 8pm. The food was good but certainly not at the level that we were expecting based on photos and reputation. Or maybe the rushed service didn’t really give us a chance to sit down and enjoy. The whole experience lasted 45 minutes. We left very disappointed.

    For a place that has received so much attention, there was very little that was memorable about this meal. We had decent service, the food was good but not great, and the atmosphere is better elsewhere. Admittedly, if La Olla wasn’t recommended by every online article, I might have a different perception, but this did not even rank in our top 10 meals in Oaxaca.
