Food and service were amazing. Initial check in wasn’t as pleasant as it should have because there aren’t any seating areas. But overall, it was great experience.

I went for a Japanese lunch with a friend. My friend ordered the sashimi set, and I had the grilled black cod and sashimi set. The sashimi was very fresh, and the black cod was perfectly cooked — everything was absolutely delicious. The waitstaff were very attentive, constantly refilling our water and tea, and the service was excellent. The dessert was also delicious. I can’t wait to go back again soon!

My husband and I both called our dining an “experience”. Most of the items, aside from the tempura, sushi and sashimi, we got with our prix fixed meal, we had never heard of and we both eat at Japanese restaurants at home. We loved every dish! So uniquely prepared and honestly, a picture to look at. Thank you chef and thank you to our wonderful server who explained each course and how to eat it. She was so sweet and seem genuinely interested in us wanting to get the most out of our delicious dinners. It truly was a memorable experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you love Japanese cuisine and you want to be a little adventurous.

We made reservations for lunch so it was easy getting in. Lunch sets are offered & are a good deal for the quality of food you receive. Everything from lunch to dessert was perfect. Service is also excellent. Highly recommend.

We always thoroughly enjoy dining at Suntory whenever we are visiting from the Big Island. The food, presentation, staff and ambience are supreme.

Suntory is my favorite stop in Honolulu but for some reason, it was not as good as before. Tempura was good but the rest including service was not as good as before.
