   The sushi and sashimi was outstanding. Everything fresh from Japan. The chef was excellent in is preparation, very similar to our numerous trips we have taken to Japan. We will go back soon.

   In the past Suntory has been my go to restaurant for occasional business and personal lunches that I would host. On several occasions I have utilized the private room for larger family luncheons. Today's lunch was a real disappointment. I had the Sashimi and Butterfish. Previously served over a bed of ice, today's presentation and portions was a disappointment. The Butterfish was just okay. The biggest disappointment was the bowl of rice. It was dry, hard versus fluffy and had not taste. Did not recognize any of the present servers; appears longtime staff of move on. Suntory needs to figure it out or this place will eventually close. This would be a shame. With great ambience and great food, used to be such a wonderful place to entertain guest.

   The food was served extremely slowly, and no one came to clear the table. There were many used dishes left on the table, and they weren’t taken away. We had to repeatedly ask for utensils before they were finally brought to us.

    Suntory is an excellent restaurant with food very similar to taste as what you’ll find in Japan. When making your reservation you’ll be asked to choose teppanyaki or washoku (essentially a la carte menu). The teppanyaki is excellent … well worth trying. If you choose the washoku side you can get shabu shabu (sometimes with special offers). The service is excellent and the environment is very good for dining. Highly recommended
