   Truly disappointing. Food was very salty, starting with the sauce on the Gumbo to die for (from hypertension I think). Venison was tasty but probably 2 ounces of tenderloin. Scallops were good, but again as if they were soaked in saltwater. Service was absent (had to ask for bread and pour wine from decanter yourself).

   Our servers were subpar. Didn’t have a smile on their face. Didn’t going to detail about the menu. We heard the servers behind us and they went into great detail and they were super happy and super friendly wish we had them.

   I'm so glad we are here. I had the short ribs and lobster and my daughter had scallops and truffles. The food was simple, elegant, and cooked to perfection. It was the kind of meal that makes you sit back, relax, and savor each bite. They do not rely on heavy sauces or seasoning to mask the flavor of poor quality offerings. The food and the presentation were more delicious than we imagined. What's more, our server, Kevan, was FANTASTIC! You should request him if you choose to go. He explained everything, including the city. He was welcoming and had a killer sense of humor!

   This is the very first time I am writing a review. I am doing so because R’evolution absolutely blew my mind. First, and foremost, the service is the best in the country. For the first time EVER, the entire team were so nice, knowledgeable, original, and relatable. I am so over snobby steakhouses where the staff has zero personality. R’evolution has proven that modern service doesn’t compromise sophistication, in fact it elevated it to a class of their own! The food was fabulous. When your waitress sets the bar so high with the coolest description of each meal, the thought was there was no way it would surpass the high bar she set. Well…we were all so surprised and the food was exceptional! Bravo R’evolution for being the best both in culinary and nice humans areas of expertise!

   I came here to celebrate my graduation. Our waiters were Tina and Alex and they did an incredible job making sure we got everything we wanted and answering all of our questions. The entire team pitched in though and helped create a one of a kind experience.

    Rome and Rory were excellent servers who made this dining experience truly special and fun! The food was out of this world. I was reluctant to try the crab beignets, thinking they’d just be bread with crab in them. I was soooo wrong, they were basically lumps of crab flashfried in batter. So creamy and delicious.     The staff was excellent, as was the food. Isaac and another gentleman (I’m kicking myself for forgetting his name - he recommended the best cocktails!) took care of us and absolutely made the experience. We had the gumbo, shrimp & grits, and chocolate torte. Gumbo was a different experience than anywhere else we’ve seen (kind of a small portion). Shrimp & grits were delicious.

    Maybe it was because Mother's Day is one of those days, like Valentine's Day and New Year's Eve, when restaurants never seem to serve their covers properly. Too many covers squeezed into a short amount of time. When I booked a dinner service time, pre-theater for us that day, I was not told that the menu would be a limited brunch menu that would run all day. Fantastic oysters are all I can say were enjoyable. The food lacked seasoning, from basic salt and pepper to anything else that would have made our other three dishes palatable. Service was nice and mostly attentive, but I feel they ran out of table linens, or maybe the open kitchen area is no white cloth service, so we needed to ask for coasters as sweaty drinks are no fun. One coaster for each of us for our combined four glasses. Our coffee was excellent, and we said no to dessert, avoiding more culinary damage. But then we were presented with dessert cutlery. I reminded the server we had not ordered dessert and was told that maybe they had wanted to offer us something. Protocol dictates that something like that would be offered, not a surprise, or at least let someone know as the table is being set. After that, two soup spoons were brought. Your guess is as good as mine as to why. I doubt you could get me to try again, not needing to risk around $200.00 a head on what may not be a sure thing. It seems the old French Quarter guard has tumbblede, the better food in NOLA now in other areas of the city.

    Restaurant Revolution was a nice dining experience. The staff was very friendly, they helped with a wine selection which turned out to be excellent. We didn't realize that the menu for the evening was a hold over from the Mothers' day brunch menu, but there was enough to choose from that we still ended up being able to try some of the staples. Each dish was very good but nothing other than the service could be considered outstanding. I would definitely return on a more "normal" night.

    Sadly what was one of the best dining experiences in Nola is fading. For the second time in a row the food was not hot. Seems pre cooked and warmed up rather than freshly prepared. For the price it’s just not worth it anymore.

    Went for brunch, service was great. The food and menu were very disappointing for that level of restaurant and the prices. Staff even acknowledged they had a new chef and the brunch menu was different or limited. Also the table wasn’t even set and it was bare wood while the other half of the restaurant had white tablecloth. So it seemed like things were just half way. Not worth the money.

    FOOD WAS NOT HOT. WAITER GOT SEQUENCE OF ORDER WRONG. WAS IN AND OUT IN 40 MINUTES. FELT RUSHED ON A HOLIDAY. Not at all enjoyable. Not even close to what one would expect from John Folse. I Have eaten at his other restaurants and this one just is not good enough. Food nowhere as good as when it opened. Gumbo was not even up to par.

    2 of 3 rooms had no tablecloths. Their normal modus operandi? But it was a Mothers' Day Brunch, surely deserving a more special treatment, especially with the high prices (at least 3 entrees in the $50 range). Got a very poor description from waiter of the "Salmon Chips," which was an ill-conceived dish anyway. The Lobster Benedict, which was good (despite a tomato slice being part of it), was served in a very large bowl for such a small dish ($50). While we had difficulty getting a waiter's attention during the meal for a photograph, our table was cleared immediately thereafter and the check was presented without our asking for it or being finished with our coffee. We felt rushed.

    Fantastic people that serve you at the R'Volution. Enjoyed getting to know our staff almost as much as the quality of service and outstanding food. Even had the opportunities to watch a couple wedding parades pass down the street in front of the restaurant. Will go back again!

    The initial wait person never introduced herself and never smiled. She seemed to be in a rush as she was dealing with our table at the same time with the table next to ours. We had ordered a dessert to conclude our dinner with our server’s assistant. Before the dessert arrived, our original server brought our check and was unaware that we had ordered dessert from her assistant. Additionally, the person with whom I was dining complained to the manager the one of the seafood items(scallop) was under cooked and was given an excuse, but no attempt was made to correct or satisfy the issue.

    Fantastic dinner and service. Everything was timed perfectly from the bread service to the dessert course. My only minor complaint was the lack of seasoning on the wagyu fingerling potato side. It could have used some more seasoning.

    We had a wide variety of dishes. The big hits were the crab beignets, boudin balls, the quail entree, and the short rib and lobster entree. The dessert selection had a great range. We chose banana foster, the bread pudding creme brule, and the "entrapment", whichever was phenomenal. A very complex dessert that did not disappoint. The drinks were great. Our servers were phenomenal. It was a memorable evening at R'evolution.

    The meal and entire dining experience was amazing. Drinks, food, service exceeded our expectations. Best meal and service in all of Louisiana. Dashaun and Tina both were really familiar with the menu and excellent with their knowledge and their recommendations were spot on. Can’t say enough about both of them and how impressed we were with their descriptions and knowledge of the menu. You don’t find that in many places.

    Went here several times a couple of years ago and it quickly became one of my favorite restaurants due in part to the amazing service. There doesn’t seem to be nearly the same attention to detail with respect to service as there once was. Orders came out wrong, service was just generally slow, our waiter stopped in the middle of taking an order to answer a question from another waiter. And while in no way do I subscribe to formalities I do not like being addressed as bro or dude while paying several hundred dollars for a meal. Won’t be going back any time soon.

    This is a bit like an out-of-body experience: French Quarter madness outside, elegance and serenity inside. You leave the craziness and step into an oasis of white table cloths, impeccable service, and a delectable menu. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, our cocktails, and one of our favourite California cabs. We will definitely be back and recommend it highly!

    In town for Jazz Fest, so our dinner reservations and food preferences tended to be on the light side. The service was very helpful and attentive. They had us try our wine selections before finalizing. I had the Saison salad and the scallops with black truffle. My friend had only the entree of snapper with veg and lemon butter. All were excellent. The Sancerre that we drank was an excellent accompaniment and reasonably priced. We had the strawberry creme brûlée bread pudding for dessert, which was also delicious. Would definitely eat here again!
