Located inside The Royal Sonesta New Orleans hotel in the heart of the French Quarter, Restaurant R’evolution’s menu reflects a melding of our region’s distinct culinary styles.     Great food, service and atmosphere. NOLA always delivers on great cuisine. Restaurant R’evolution was no exception. I’ll certain come back the next time I’m in town. Excellent seafood, serving sizes were perfect, great desert and drinks, and knowledgeable and professional staff.

    Food was good but fish was too salty. Quail gumbo also good but have had better without the quail for much less money. Country terrine was excellent as was the service. Prices a bit high for the isze of the portions.

    The restaurant is very nice but the food is so so. The steak was horrible had to send it back as it was all gristle! Waiters were nice but hard to get their attention when you needed something.

    I am a well traveled foodie and this is in my top 10 around the world. Food was exquisite and priced well. The service and ambiance were just as good. I sat at the chefs table and made my own 5 course tasting menu.

    As always, wonderful dinner. Exceptional service, great food. The only thing less than 5 star was the apple tart dessert - just ok. Miss the chocolate treasure box at the end of the meal! Regardless, a lovely time!

    Cocktails were great! Dinner was wonderful - beef short rib and blue crab beignets! The staff was extremely friendly - would definitely return. Overall, it is a pretty expensive experience but it is worth it!

    The service is exceptional. The ambience is perfect. The food was sublime (get the hellcat add on!). The only down side was we asked for a quiet table for our 35th anniversary and about a third through the meal an obnoxious party was seated behind us. White guys with LOUD sales type voices and attitudes. We could no longer hear the lovely music or talk across the table. When paying $500 for dinner, one should not have to deal with that. However, otherwise the food was divine and so was the service. I recommend the crab beignets.

    We ordered Seafood gumbo, a Montegut Salad, Red Fish and the Pheasant Coq Au Vin. All dishes were excellent. The waitress recomended we split the salad. Very sound advice. For dessert the apple tart and coffee. Highly recommend this restaurant .Our fifth visit, always different, but never disappoints.

    We went here for my husband & I’s first anniversary. We had never been here prior. I highly recommend this place. The restaurant was beautiful, eloquent, and our waiter, Kevin R., really knew the menu well. He was able to recommend some amazing food choices and provided us with top notch service. The food was amazing! We will definitely go back.

    This place is a welcome break from the traditional New Orleans fare. Extensive menu with many interesting options. Food preparation is spot on. What I notice and appreciate the most is that there has obviously been extensive training of the staff on what makes a fine dining experience successful.

    Enjoyed coming to this new place in the French Quarter. This place has a ton of potential. The food was okay. The price, quality, and portions don’t line up. We were seated along the wall, and ventilation dropped water on half our party occasionally. One of our mixed drinks had an issue with sour pineapple juice. The wait staff do not pick up the glass when pouring. One person put a hot coffee pot on my arm, another spilled water on the table. A little training, they should clean this up. The options on the menu were great. Cleanliness was amazing. I will try it again after the first of the year to see if they get better. I did like the wait staff and the bartenders.

    Without a doubt, the best eating experience ever in New Orleans. We have been visiting for years, but just came across this restaurant on Open Table. Food was fantastic. We felt so welcome & special. A great dining R’evolution.
