Serving dinner nightly Restaurant R’evolution offers modern, imaginative reinterpretations of classic Cajun and Creole cuisine. Located inside The Royal Sonesta New Orleans hotel in the heart of the French Quarter, Restaurant R’evolution’s menu reflects a melding of our region’s distinct culinary styles. Steeped in the diverse historic and cultural influences of Louisiana, the menu features not only contemporary interpretations of New Orleans classics such as gumbo, po’ boys, and beignets, but also new creations highlighting ingredients from the vast backyard pantry that is the wetlands of Louisiana. Tableside service components play an important role in the dining experience, promoting guest engagement about the history and evolution of the food they are enjoying.

    My partner and I are in NOLA for a vacation and we couldn’t have asked for a better date night!! The food was amazing and they were very considerate of his shellfish, and when we didn’t get dessert they brought out a cute lil chocolate box and homemade ice cream sandwiches so that we didn’t leave without having the full experience. Erika and our other waiter (I forgot his name but he was AMAZING and his vast experience showed, were incredible. Will definitely be back on our next trip!

    We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the service was excellent. Every course was delicious and visually pleasing. The bread service was delicious with the sugar cane butter. We had crab beignets and boudin appetizers followed by the short rib with lobster and pork chops. Couldn’t resist trying the crème brûlée bread pudding and it did not disappoint. We were celebrating our 29th anniversary and they really made our anniversary dinner special! We will definitely be back!!!

    The dinner was great menu selections for the bar area wasn’t very good they didn’t have too many items bartenders was very knowledgeable and  in service with us no TVs in the bar area ambience music is very low so make sure you go with someone that you can hold a conversation with

    Restaurant R’evolution is my go to favorite special place to dine in NOLA. Superb food and service, never disappoints. Two new pasta dishes I had not previously tried, both excellent plus a cocktail that was introduced last week, also excellent. I understand they are closing for renovations for the month and can only hope they don’t stray too far from the current menu and cuisine and maybe consider bringing back my old favorite lobster sheep gnocchi which I still miss!

    During my reservation, I choose bar area which I’m not really like next time I will go for dining room. Otherwise, my waiter was very great and food was excellent. It’s a little bit overpriced, but well sometimes work the money.

    My new favorite fine dining restaurant! Everything was amazing from happy hour to dinner service. Kevin was an amazing host, very thoughtful and personable. We had the crab beignets, short rib boudin, cast iron foie gras, death by gumbo, turtle soup, butter poached lobster with black linguine, crab tagliatelle, crispy Brussels, and the blackberry dessert. Ambiance was wonderful and cocktails were top tier. We can’t wait to go back after the revamp.

    Our server was absolutely incredible his name was Kevin I believe partnered with Daniel. They’re to celebrate my husbands birthday and they went above and beyond as well as suggesting local things we could do. 100% will recommend to anyone coming here! Our food was absolutely delicious, reminded us of a Michelin star restaurant we had gone too in Europe with the thoughtful desert box and the high end ingredients.

    We celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary here. It was amazing from the moment we walked in the door. The ambiance, the service and the food were top tier. This is now our favorite restaurant...ever! Thank you for making this special day memorable!!

    I had a nice meal while continuing month-long birthday celebrations. Dining alone can sometimes be a bit dull. Travis, Erica and the staff were fun and engaging throughout my time there. Travis had great suggestions on what to order. The blue crab beignets were excellent. I chose the “visiting fish” entree, which was sea bass on a bed of macque choux. Very fresh and light on a hot summer day. While my dinner was being prepared, Travis took me on a tour of the kitchen and the private dining areas. Loved this. The food and overall experience were wonderful. Will return soon.

    Daniel and Issac took care of us very well. The noise level was tolerable which is a big deal to me. I had the “Visiting Fish” which was sea bass and packed with flavor. It was a light and fresh dish. My husband ordered the filet. He enjoyed it but said he’d had better. All of our sides were flavorful and well prepared. Our specialty cocktails were tasty as well. We’d definitely dine here again.

    Restaurant R'Revolution was a delight. Service was impeccable and the food delicious. I enjoyed the filet which was the best I've had in this city. My husband had a shrimp and grits dish which was also outstanding. All of the dishes were beautifully plated which I appreciated so much. The only distraction was a slightly sticky wooden tabletop. I believe it was due to our hot humid weather. We will be back.

    I absolutely loved my experience at Restaurant R'evoultion , I would suggest it for special occasions or celebrations because the vibes were immaculate. We tried a bunch of different things because so many menu items were a must try. & that was the best decision! I would recommend this place a million times over. Thank you to my waiter and waitress Alex and Christine!

    Sheila and her crew were amazing , however we're seated in an area that looked like an unused kitchen, where the large overhead fan never stop running and it sounded like a jet engine, very noisy.

    What a fabulous dining experience! We will definitely be back! The gumbo was some of the best that I have had, as were the shrimp. We also had amazing appetizers, and I would go back just to get more of that home-made ice cream! The drinks were good, and the service was outstanding! Wonderful night!!! We will visit again soon!

    This was our first visit and we were very impressed. We had a wonderful waiter who truly enjoyed taking care of his guests. The trio of quail was exceptional...great presentation and 3 completely different preparations.

    This restaurant was marketed as a five star restaurant it is not. We went there for our anniversary .Upon being seated the greeter had to clean the nasty table with a rag from the front counter; none of the tables had table cloths. The waiters placed our silverware without a napkin on the necked table that was partially cleaned . The waiters spoke in an unprofessional matter using slang talking fast trying to be cool and we could not understand what they were saying. I guess this was a cultural way of explaining the menu. Our scallops were good but over priced. We ordered a dozen of raw half shall oysters that were so small you could eat them with a tooth pick. The turtle soup tasted like chilli. The manger was polite and took the overpriced oysters off our bill after we made a complaint. Our bill was nearly over a $140 .Please do not eat at this restaurant named (Revolution).
