Only issue was some wait staff forgot drink order details. Our bottle of wine arrived before our pre-dinner drinks.

Just like a Woody Allen set. Service was good and the only flaw was the coordination of the drinks. Subtle jazz music was excellent.

It was a birthday dinner and my reservation noted that yet no acknowledgement was made by staff. Specifically, as most restaurants do provide a candle with the dessert order. Service felt a bit rushed as dishes were taken from the table without asking if we are done with them. However, great ambience and food.

Our baby sitter cancelled and hour before we were due to walk out the door Hubert changed our reservation from 2 to 3 without any fuss. We were very grateful because we had been looking forward to our reservation for months. Straight away walking down the stairs we knew we were in for treat. Live jazz band delicious food and impeccable service!

Good atmosphere, nice food, service is quite well.

Accidentally booked for the wrong date, but gentleman at the front said he could squeeze us in for 9:45pm. The ambience was good because of the live music. The lighting and decor was lovely. It was difficult to flag down our waiter. I had to ask for the check twice after 15 mins of waiting from the first time. The cocktails were a bit lacking.

Try the Wagyu and the cocktails, we also enjoyed the parfait and baguette.

We were on our mini honeymoon (massively delayed due to Covid) and it was a great dinner. We were served promptly, never had to wait for a drink. We got the 1kg t-bone and wow!!

A little bit understaffed but everything else is perfect

I appreciate the vibe of Hubert. The ambience of the restaurant is fantastic. I was disappointed with the presentation of the entrees. I’ve been to huberts before and this time around it felt like they did not have their food presented to compliment the value of the food. Overall great restaurant.

Hubert was the stand out of our little getaway to Sydney! Beautiful ambience and decor, from the entrance all the way to the dining room. The attention to detail here is incredible!! We arrived a bit early and the friendly yet professional gent at the reception found us a seat at the bar. We had beautiful cocktails and starters while we waited for our table. Service was very efficient and although friendly, our waiter skipped a few good steps of regular sequence of service, for example, we never got asked how were our meals. Regardless, the live jazz was amazing and added to the experience. Food was fantastic (can’t stop thinking about the escargot with xo sauce) complimented by a great wine list too! Can’t wait to be back :)

Lovel the place, ambience, service, quality of food, attentiveness of the waiters and of course the live jazz performance. This is really unique venue which I highly recommend!

Had the classic steak frites- beautiful cut of meat and plentiful shoe string fries. Good wine recommendation (by the glass). Came for the live jazz: the trio was enjoyable, particularly the singer/double bassist but the live set felt brief given the 2 hour seating. Great ambience and an enjoyable evening.

I feel that having a banquet with nine guests needed more time than the allowance of 2.5 hours. It felt hurried and I felt that I did not have time to take in the music nor the lovely surroundings. Either more time is required or less food in the banquet. It was a lot of food and could not be enjoyed slowly.
