August is a Contemporary Creole restaurant creating unique dishes with a focus on Louisiana ingredients and inspired by classical training. Located in a historic 19th century French-Creole building in New Orleans’ Central Business District, the main dining room caters to the most unique dining experience. The interior is rich with original architectural details, gleaming hardwood floors, soaring columns, mahogany paneling and antique mirrors.

Dagli editor di OpenTable: August remains the flagship restaurant within the BRG Hospitality group, and it’s a grande dame dining room of New Orleans. The building rose tall in the 1830s, and the elegant space features mahogany panels and antique mirrors. The modern Creole menu offers a chef’s tasting in seven courses, from red snapper crudo to lavender panna cotta. The team also has a reputation for impeccable service, earning a couple of James Beard nominations in the past decade.

This menu is $185 per person excluding tax and gratuity. Enhance your meal with a thoughtful and intentional wine pairing with six courses, +$110 per person or reserve wine pairings, + $175 per person.

    My friend and I dined here after fest. The experience was fabulous. Ben and Felicia were our servers, excellent service. The food was wonderful, and the amuse bouche was customized for my friend as she is a pescatarian. Will return

    August was an incredible experience! We went for Friday lunch. The food was incredible. Each course was delightful and unique, combining French cuisine with New Orleans flavors. The staff was friendly and helpful and the space itself was exquisite, from the beautiful woodwork, freshly pressed tablecloths to the gorgeous flowers gracing the dining room. August is a must for the quintessential NOLA outing!

    Everything was fabulous except our table location. Every dish we were served was delicious. Our servers were wonderful, explaining every dish, so friendly and right there when we needed them.

    Twenty-nine years between visits gives some perspective, and the verdict is that the magic that made August a destination when it opened hasn’t waned. If anything, it’s grown. For my money, the finest restaurant in the US right now.

    Outstanding every time. Have had some of the best meals of my life here. Services is always exceptional. I am particularly fond of the Friday lunches.
