   Everything was fabulous except our table location. Every dish we were served was delicious. Our servers were wonderful, explaining every dish, so friendly and right there when we needed them.

   Twenty-nine years between visits gives some perspective, and the verdict is that the magic that made August a destination when it opened hasn’t waned. If anything, it’s grown. For my money, the finest restaurant in the US right now.

   Outstanding every time. Have had some of the best meals of my life here. Services is always exceptional. I am particularly fond of the Friday lunches.

   Restaurant August was superb! The atmosphere is very romantic and inviting. The service is impeccable and the cocktails are lovely. The food is beautiful and absolutely delicious. The layers of flavors in the tuna crudo were incredible. The Iberico pork dish was delicious. The duck breast with "dirty rice" was excellent - the rice was dirty, but also had a foie gras foundation, which was amazing! We will definitely go back next time we're in New Orleans and highly recommend Restaurant August!

   One of the very best restaurants in New Orleans. All of the dishes are delicious, creative, and beautifully presented. The only problem is trying to decide what to order since everything is equally tempting. Service is just as good as the food. And the dining rooms fit the food and the service.
