Restaurant August se inauguró en octubre de 2001 con el nativo John Besh a la cabeza, y es el único restaurante en ser premiado con un calificación perfecta de "5 Beans" por el The Times-Picayune en los 2 últimos años. Del equipo editorial de OpenTable: August remains the flagship restaurant within the BRG Hospitality group, and it’s a grande dame dining room of New Orleans. The building rose tall in the 1830s, and the elegant space features mahogany panels and antique mirrors. The modern Creole menu offers a chef’s tasting in seven courses, from red snapper crudo to lavender panna cotta. The team also has a reputation for impeccable service, earning a couple of James Beard nominations in the past decade.

    Restaurant August presents our Chef's Tasting Menu - a journey through nine dishes to encapsulate the August experience including Fruits de Mer, Spoon Bread & Caviar, Yellowedge Grouper, Duck Pithivier, Grilled A5 Wagyu, Black Tea Ice Cream, and Louisiana Pecan. This menu is $185 per person excluding tax and gratuity. Enhance your meal with a thoughtful and intentional wine pairing with six courses, +$110 per person or reserve wine pairings, + $175 per person.

    One of the best dining experiences my boyfriend and I have ever had. From the moment we sat down the staff was kind and attentive. The food presentation was exquisite and the combination of flavors was mind blowing. We were celebrating my birthday and every person that came to our table acknowledged the occasion and made it a very special evening. Thank you to Jordan, Annabelle and the entire BOH for an unforgettable night!

    Amazing food and service. Would like to see a little more value for dollar as portion size could be a little better. For example, gnocchi app was incredible but it wouldn’t add tremendous cost to include a few more on the plate. Also, fish was outstanding but plate was sparse given side dishes are not available as an option the plate should have had some starch to go with it. But overall incredible food. Why is their 3% admin fee added to bill by the way these prices are high enough to be covering that I would think. All restaurants have admin cost it’s part of doing business.

    Definitely a family favorite for my family. Exceptional food, service and atmosphere. Our go for celebrations. August never disappoints!

    Words cannot describe our experience at August...but I'll try: amazing, fantastic, exquisite, delicious, outstanding, romantic, thoughtful...I could go on and on! From the moment we walked in, everything was truly perfect! The ambiance was beautiful, the service was impeccable, the food was incredible, and the overall experience was unforgettable. Thank you to Ben and everyone at the restaurant who made our anniversary dinner so special and memorable! We would give you 10 stars if we could!!
