Adept Hospitality is bringing another concept to the location of their original popup, Sushi | Bar ATX.

Chef Anthony Martin, who received 2 Stars from the Michelin Guide as the Executive Chef of Tru in Chicago, invites just 10 guests at a time into a converted East Austin Craftsman home for an elevated dinner party. Anthony's refined take on approachable cuisine will be prepared directly in front of his guests seated exclusively around the Chef's counter.

Chef Martin and his team bring a level of dining Austin sorely needs. Focus on local sources bringing a more global menu that far surpasses many, if not all Austin fine-dining establishments. Well done!!!

Easily a 1 star (maybe even a 2 star) Michelin experience anywhere else, including New York, Chicago, LA. Great vibe and beautiful space. Would highly recommend before the pop up closes!

Fantastic birthday dinner!! Anthony is super talented and down to earth. I wish the pop up was available permanently. Everything was cooked beautifully, my favorite were the scallops, ora king salmon & duck.

We took a chance on booking the tasting menu here the day that Eater announced Residence, and we’re so glad we did. This was a truly special experience that exceeded our expectations. Everything was delicious, and the service was incredibly intimate. I highly recommend putting chef Anthony’s tasting menu on your to-do list.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My wife and I had dinner at Residence by Anthony Martin last night, and it was easily one of the best meals we’ve ever had in Austin. What made it so special wasn’t just the food—though that was phenomenal—but the entire experience. Anthony was incredibly engaging and down to earth. He took time between courses to talk with us, answer questions, and share how each dish came together. What stood out was how much thought went into the design of the food. Every element was intentional—simple ingredients, arranged beautifully, and full of flavor. It’s rare to find a meal this refined that still feels warm and personal. The space itself feels like you’re stepping into his home kitchen—intimate, relaxed, and full of good conversation. And Giuseppe, who guided the wine pairings and hosted the evening, was exceptional. Warm, thoughtful, and sharp, he tied everything together with ease. We purposely didn’t take photos, and I’d recommend going in the same way—no spoilers. Just go and enjoy the surprise. This isn’t just dinner, it’s an experience. If you’re lucky enough to get a seat, take it. You won’t forget it.
