   Food was terrific--amazing whitefish pate platter (with terrific smoked salmon as well). Seafood pasta and seafood pot pie both excellent. Service was friendly, helpful, but rather inattentive. Had to ask for refills on wine and took a while to pay too.

   These folks have consistently interesting and innovative cuisine. Dishes are flavorful, especially when it comes to seafood. Our most recent server, Diane, had lots of personality and knew the entrees well. Will definitely go back again.

   We read great things about the food and service and they did not disappoint. Had a calamari appetizer which was outstanding. Meals included salmon and a seafood pasta. All were very tasty and served hot. Our waiter was outstanding. As we waited in line to get in we had people walking by in bathing suits and the checkin was somewhat crowded and loud due to combining the restaurant reception with a walkway for the hotel. There does not seem to be any real separation between the hotel walking traffic and noise and the restaurant dining which I feel takes away from what would have been an outstanding experience as it impacts the atmosphere.

   The crab dip and warm pitas were amazing. Our entrees of Seafood Papperadelle and Seafood Pot Pie were so tasty. Chef Austin is to be commended! We ordered side salads but could have shared the side salad. Our waitress, Libby, was so helpful, attentive, and nice conversationalist. We will go back soon and have heard the best breakfasts are great also.

   Miscommunication with the waitstaff each thinking the other had our table. So we were ignored for first 10 minutes. But otherwise food and service was great after that.

    Eddie was an awesome and attentive waiter for my husband and I at our delicious New Years Eve dinner! Mary Oat the manager/hostess was friendly and welcoming to us answering questions that we had. I highly recommend Reflect Bistro!

    We went here for Christmas Eve dinner and the menu was amazing, the food delicious and they were able to easily accommodate and modify for gluten-allergies. Our waitress Kristina was attentive and on it. Don’t be fooled by the fact it is at a hotel, this restaurant is phenomenal.

    We arrived on time ,the greeters were very nice our wait staff was friendly, courteous and professional. We ordered cocktails and appetizers . We ordered dinner . We waited one hour and ten minutes. We observed guests arriving after us being served dinner. We received apologies multiple times but no meal. We paid for our drinks and appetizers and left.

    We went for a quiet birthday dinner (my daughter turned Sweet 16) Everything was pretty good (except the charcuterie board - for $23 I expected more variety with meat/veggies/dipping sauces- (had fig jam, a few chunks of salami , there was a ton of cheese and a loaf of bread) but crackers, mustard, olives and pickled /fresh veggies were sorely missed in this presentation. Other than that- it was a nice meal and the birthday song and dessert was a very nice and appreciated gesture.

    We made a reservation ahead of time. Their dining room had about 4 tables sat. Their host could not figure out how to accommodate our group of 6 and sat us separately. Our table of two had great service. Our waitress waited 10-15 min to greet us. We waited over 50 min for our food. She got all of our orders wrong and never refilled our drinks. The food was good, the service was poor.

    Good wine list but expected more Michigan wines. Ceviche was well presented and flavorful. Salmon was beautifully presented but the asparagus was undressed, and prunes in a tomato-like sauce tried but felt short of enhancing the maple glaze. Staff was attentive.

    Where do I start? I would not eat here again, nor would I recommend it. Lack of privacy, too crowded. Did not like seeing people at the bar or in the lounge area. Please put up a divider. The food was poor. Had the mushroom bisque. It was way to thick for a bisque. Lumpy and the consistency of mushroom soup straight from a can with no added liquid. It was only lukewarm. I had the seafood shepherds pie I had heard so much about. It was only fair. Was it cooked in a puff pastry, or was a piece of puff pastry just laid on top of it? It wasn't hot either. The house salad was plentiful and fresh. The only plus. Overall, it was a waste of money and a waste of time. We left a 20% tip as I felt sorry for the staff having to work in such a place. They seemed to work hard but even the service was poor. Really it is a place to avoid. Like most of Traverse City restaurants it was overpriced and over hyped. Perhaps a public flogging of the manager should be called for soon.

    Amazing! The food was sooo good. Definitely a winner. Honey grapefruit shrimp app was amazing. Calamari was thai inspired. Salmon was huge and cooked just perfectly. Also seafood pasta was dreamy. And- carrot cake was to die for! We took home plenty of leftovers too. Go!

    It was our 40th wedding anniversary and I should have done better homework. Should have visited to notice it’s basically in the hotels lobby. I called a couple days in advance to ask if I could bring a bottle of Dom Parignon and was told it wasn’t allowed even though they don’t have it on the menu’s. Food was ok.
