Great food for reasonable prices with top notch service and eclectic menu.
Very upscale dining in a comfortable setting. Service was great. Food was great.
Service was poor, meal was expensive as expected but not worth it. When we arrived most of the items on the menu they were out of. Would not recommend. I had a better steak at Denny’s the day after.
This was our first time visiting Cambria Suites! Recommended for the last year by friends, we decided to give it a try. We found the atmosphere much better than expected, the food was great, service was excellent, and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends. We will be seeing you again!
Terrible service and not the best food - much better choices available in the city.
did a look on trip advisor and found this place to be great as the other reviews have said. a must go time is the happy hour, 4-7p everday!the apps were super and half off! and if you like oysters great place to start! the cocktails were well made. and the batender and wait staff friendly! the good food we ordered was very tasty and no rush on your meal! take the time to go!
My husbands mushroom soup was excellent. That’s it. I had the filet and scallops. Steak did not melt in your mouth. Scallops were the size of quarters. Very unforgettable. My husbands had fiket and crab cakes. He rated them the same as I rated my meal. Our Caesar salad had horseradish in it. Very unusual and did not add. Highly recommended to us. We would not recommend esp for the price point. Our waitress was very good.
Hostess and waitress, Diahna were great! The chef come out and to see how we enjoyed the meal and everyone was very attentive!
First time and won't be the last. Lovely, quiet spot to visit and dine well.
The food and service was great, definitely a hidden gem in Traverse City.
Excellent food and presentation of meal. Calamari appetizer was very creative spin on traditional calamari - highly recommend! Server was not very attentive.
The waitress Diahn was very professional and handled a slightly stressful situation with our guests admirably. The food from Chef Gary was outstanding as were the beverages.
Although clearly over rated it was very good
Great salads. Very good lamb chops and a really generous wine pour. Ambience not so good...no view and very coffee shop atmosphere
Dinner with my family (5 yr old included) was phenomenal! Wonderfully sourced ingredients (local where available), wonderful value and the service was top notch. Location is unassuming, but wonderful experience.
We had a good time here and had pretty good service. The food was EXCELLENT, as was the wine. Came here for a date with my fiance, some of the best food in the city. We weren't expecting that!
Our waiter Edward was very knowlegable, friendly and answered all our questions. He made some good suggestions. Order 2 different fish dishes - very good. Decent wine list. Small area so I would suggest considering making reservations.
You wouldn't think that you would find such a super meal in a hotel in TC. Superb food and reasonable prices and service that was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I would absolutely recommend to dine here while visiting Traverse City.
Several of our wine choices were unavailable and a bottle of white wasn't chilled. Gold beets were actually red beets and the morel mushroom risotto just had 1 and pieces of other. Other than that, dishes were great. Filets we're very good, as were the various fish dishes
Very good food, service as well. Some classics , like various 'surf and turf' but others take classic ingredients like salmon, whitefish, perch, and do them a little differently. Reasonable wine prices including wines by the glass; wish a few more of the wines by the glass were from the local vineyards.
Halibut was outstanding, the best fish I've had in a long time.
My group had an amazing time. Food was outstanding, service was excellent! Thank you Diahn! The conversation ended with "Cannot wait to come back!"
Loved the food and thought the atmosphere was very nice, not too fussy and formal. As we were settling our bill, a family with young kids came in. The staff handled the situation well, but I was glad to be leaving. I would not bring kids there.
Sad to learn of Erik's departure, He brought a fantastic food vision. Quite a loss for CSuites, makes it less of a destination for us locals.
Our group was very happy with the service and the food.....i would recommend to my friends
Slow service to start. Drinks were quite tasty. Food was delicious. Overall pretty good experience.
Exceptional staff😊 Great food. Would definitely go back.
Go there every time in the area. Once again, outstanding meal and great service. This is the reason they are #1 on trip advisor
Great food. And coming from Chicago, I think at a bargain price. Example, surf and Turf only $37.
Got a lobster bisque and the lobster was so rubbery I could not eat it. They did take it off my bill but didn't offer to replace it with anything (I did eat the broth though). Also got a shrimp scampi and the shrimp was over done as well. When we got the bill they added someone else's meal on our ticket. Overbilled almost $50.00, so glad I checked. Waitress just laughed. Overall our 40th Anniversary dinner was a bust.
Great spot for dinner. If you go for an earlier dinner it's half off apps and discounts on drinks! The filet was well cooked and had a great sauce!
The food was wonderful. The setting? I was baffled that nothing was done to create any atmosphere or separation from the hotel. We felt like we were seated in the breakfast buffet of a mid level suites hotel - or in a hotel lobby. The elevator was right there and while dining on my wonderful meal - the food truly was fantastic - I watched maid carts and sandy swim suited families go by. It would be so easy to screen the dining area from the elevator lobby, dim the lighting, put candles on the tables... please try!
BEWARE! The chef is GONE! All of the reviews you read about this place became invalid the day he and his kitchen staff left.
What a nightmare this once fine restaurant has become.
This isn't the same place you read about on Open Table, Yelp and Trip Advisor. An entirely new kitchen crew has ruined one of the best restaurants in TC.
The only thing worse than the food was "Ellie" and her amateur, pretentious style of service. This waitress will singlehandedly ruin what little remains of a previously fine restaurant.
Delicious from start to finish. We will definitely return on our next visit to Traverse city.
Normally, we avoid hotel restaurants unless we're overnight guests there, but since Reflect Bistro was highly rated, we decided to try it. Because we enjoyed our first meal (dinner) so much, we went there 2 times within just a few days apart (second time being for breakfast). We highly recommend it; however for those on a budget, this restaurant may be one to experience on a special occasion. It's very small, has a quieter atmosphere, the food is uniquely prepared and is delicious. The servers were very pleasant & attentive to their diners.
We had an amazing dining experience. The food was amazing. And our server Ellie, made sure we had anything we needed. But, was unintrusive. It is a hidden treasure, located in the Cambria Suites hotel.
The food was deliciously prepared with some innovative culinery surprises, and was creatively presented, the service was attentive without being intrusive, the white table cloths lent an air of formality, but the ambiance was friendly and warm. Even when our party hadn't begun to say our good-byes after four hours, we were never rushed and we felt invited to stay as long as our conversation would allow. My only suggestion would have been to lower the lights to provide a more subdued ambiance; otherwise, we could not have been more pleased.
Great idea for reasonably priced good food and good wine.
Not the best atmosphere but a good tradeoff for the quality and pricing on the menu.
One server for the whole restaurant. Too busy to take care of everyone properly.
This restaurant is next to the lobby of the Cambria Suites. There aren't too many tables but it appears there are additional tables on the other side of the quick bites counter. The staff is extremely friendly and cheerful. They were really good with our kids as well as kids at nearby tables. And the food was SO TASTY!! Really truly so good. The service was prompt. The seating is in an open area so you can watch people arrive and depart so great people watching
