   Good fish. Great wine. Terrible service at the bar from barkeeps who honestly did not want to be there. Decent table service. Overall a B-/C+ experience. Very loud inside.

   We were looking forward to visiting Red Fish Grill again, but we were a little disappointed this time. The service was good but was very rushed on a busy night. We didn't feel like we were receiving the attention we needed. The food was good, but some of it was not quite warm, such as the crawfish bread and the etouffee served with the fried catfish. The BBQ oysters were rich and filling - first time trying this specialty dish! We weren't given the time to provide our true comments, as the servers left our table too quickly. We may visit again, but would likely only go back for happy hour.

   Upon arriving our server Jacob was fantastic. He gave us time to enjoy our food, had a great sense of humor and was attentive the whole service. The food was great. We started off with the alligator boudin balls that were amazingly tender, with a sweet and spicy sauce and pickled green tomatoes/molitor squash. The red fish that my husband had was also great. We would come back again!

   The food from the appetizers to dessert was creative and excellently prepared. I highly recommend the signature oysters for an appetizer.As well as their signature grilled redfish, as the main course. Our second time there and both times we got the same thing. It's hard to deviate away from perfection! As a bonus, the staff was just as exceptional as the dishes.

   The food was really good, but what truly made our experience memorable was the service. Our server, Rashaan, was amazing—attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. He gave great recommendations!

   Our server was outstanding. It took forever to get our food (desert came 1.5 hours after we sat down). The server kept apologizing and she tried to keep things moving but to no avail. The gumbo and chopped salad were excellent. The fried shrimp po-boy was below average. The bread was dry and “bready” and it completely fell apart after the first bite. Not a good choice. The grilled fish was very good. The place was very noisy so you couldn’t have a conversation. Maybe it was a bad night for them. We would give them a second visit but, given all of the places to eat in NOLA, it wouldn’t be at the top of our list.

   We had two servers and Anne totally stood out. She went above and beyond to take care of her table and ours too. Well done. We did have food that came out cold and a couple items that were recommended fell short, but all in all it was not a bad time.

    The food was terrible. We waited a long time to get it and it must have been sitting there a while before our waiter picked it up because when we did finally get it, it was cold. But it wouldn't have tasted good even if it were hot. The Shrimp creole was not good, the shrimp and grits had pickled relish in it that made it taste awful. The only good thing was the chocolate bread pudding. We were so disappointed and left hungry.
