We returned here because we really enjoyed their signature jalapeño fried chicken on a previous visit. This time the jalapeño flavor was not particularly pronounced, the white meat chicken was dry and the skin was not crispy. When our excellent server asked how everything was when we were paying the check, we told her this. She quickly said that she would tell the manager who would probably give us a gift card since we had already paid. It took her manager so long to stop by that we began walking out, only to have ur server entreat us to wait. We did and the manager finally credited us for one of our two dinners. That may have been appropriate but even better would have been a well-prepared dinner in the first place.

Service & food were fine. They kept blasting music to the patio sporadically, not sure what that was about. We went at 8:15pm Sunday so it was quite empty. Disappointed that there is no fried chicken and cornbread except on Thursdays.

Great visit! I sat behind the bar at a round table. Pretty please clean those off...you may have to use some elbow grease and really clear off the grit. Maybe use one of your black silverware napkins after you clean it with the sanitary sheet. Just make sure all of the sticky debris is off the table.

The noise prevented us from having an enjoyable dining experience. The music was too loud and the lack of sound proofing caused the unpleasant atmosphere. This was the Leawood location. Fried chicken and slaw had a strange spice in them. Overall, a disappointing experience.

I love the Red oor in Lenexa , however this was th efirst time trying the Leawood location. It was during lunch on a Thursday, so it was a little busy as expected. We did make reservations and we were seated fairly quickly. Our food took 35 min to come out and the breading of the fish was so greasy it fell off, so I just ate the fish inside. The fries tasted like they had also been setting under a warmer for quite a bit of time as well. You might have been short staffed but I am just sharing my honest feedback and comparing my experiences at the other location.

I asked for my hamburger medium. You could have thrown it against a wall and no juice would come out it was as tough as nails. Usually better than was last nite will begin to think about other restaurants for specials

Food was great. Came out fresh and hot. Large portions! The fried chicken is excellent. Waitress got all of our food and drinks to the table correctly, but not to the right people. No silverware/napkins brought for our appetizers and didn’t come out with the meal either.

We had a great experience at Red Door, arriving at 5:30 so we had a drink and appetizers at Happy Hour pricing before ordering dinner. We all ordered different dishes and all were good, no complaints. I had the Prime Rib French Dip, which I thought was excellent. Good food, good service and reasonable pricing, couldn't ask for more.

Even though I can’t say this place good nor bad. It was a birthday celebration for my wife and Family. Two of our party was quite elderly and they want them to sit on bar stools close to the kitchen. They had a hard time sitting in the regular chairs. Serving the dinners the half chicken was t even cooked all the way and was all bloody. Ordering the spicy steak I ordered rare and when it came wasn’t even pink let alone bloody. The cook was confused between chicken and steak in which one should be rare and cooked thoroughly. Is was said we would have the meals taken off the bill but was charged anyways. Of course catching it they adjusted it properly. Having a birthday celebration why would we have to go through such nonsense.
