Members enjoy a relaxed dining experience throughout La Cucina that includes a lounge, covered terrace and display kitchen. The lounge offers a large horse-shoe shaped eat-up bar with high and low tables that flow into the adjacent covered terrace and will open to the outside with large disappearing pocket doors. The outdoor garden terrace includes a long linear firepit to enjoy drinks while overlooking the stunning view of hole 9 South framed by the Santa Rosa mountains. A multi-purpose room is available for card playing, kid’s events, seminars and private events and will be opened to the Lounge for special events like the Super Bowl party.

The Renegade Room Restaurant is a public restaurant operated by the students enrolled in the Foods and Nutrition Program. The program incorporates lessons in nutrition, cost control, supervision and management, baking, food production, dining room services and food service safety and sanitation.
These skill sets are then applied to hands-on training experiences in both the Kitchen and Dining Room Lab stations. Students are given production menus and schedules to prepare fresh meals, while others see to the Customer Service end of business waiting tables in the Renegade Room.

    Café 101 is a teaching and learning café and kitchen operated by Daytona State College culinary students, under the supervision of our chef instructors.

    Café 101 is open to the public - seating is limited and reservations are required.
    Café 101 is located in the Mori Hosseini College of Hospitality and Culinary Management (building 1200) on the Daytona Beach Campus.
