This is my second time going to the RapChar Restaurant and I will be going back again. The restaurant has a homely vibe, and the staff just add to it. You walk in smiling and you leave smiling. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and do their best to ensure the food is up to standard and your experience is no less than fantastic. The music playing just adds to the vibe when you're sitting there hearing lovers rock. I want to thank the kitchen staff also for the amazing food they cooked. You cannot forget about the staff that are not front of house, as they work just as hard to make the experience at Rapture amazing. We went there to celebrate my mother's birthday and she had a blast! Thank you again to everyone at RapChar!

Having seen this restaurant on instagram I had to try it! The food did not disappoint, it was well presented, great portions and had that authentic yet classy taste and twist to Jamaican cuisine. Small location and intimate but very well set out, would definitely dine again.

Wow ! What a find this was , an unexpected delight. My Jamaican friend wanted to find some authentic Caribbean food and we happened up this restaurant. It met an exceeded our expectations. The food was certainly the best Caribbean we have ever had. It is reassuringly expensive; by that I mean, it's not cheap so you know they are buying top quality produce. Everything was excellent. The prawns, the wings, the scallops, the jerk lamb, goat curry, and chicken all delicious. Great Mac & cheese; perfect rice and peas. The portions are enormous !! The service from Rose was delightful, friendly and professional. Raymond the Chef Patron came out to see us, so we have the pleasure of telling him in person how good it all was. This restaurant is a true neighbourhood gem.

Booked in for a 60th birthday at 8:30. Was told To come back at 9. Came back and was then told to come back at 9:30. Waited 15 minutes for menus, we were only given 3, there was 4 of us. Then had to go up and request drinks. Waited another 20 mins for drinks menus, after we were handed them, the waiter instantly asked what we want as if we had been looking at them for more than 1.5 seconds. Food came and it was mediocre at best. Then we were rushed out, in fact they took the birthday man’s curry while he was in the toilet with half it left in the bowl btw he came all the way from Switzerland. Horrible experience but we did get a free cheap bottle of Prosecco that cost 8 pound. Looks great on Google but there is something fishy going on for it to half a 4.9 rating and I’m not talking about the salt fish. Worst £240 pound I’ve ever seen spent. Go next door to Naughty Piglets or the Italian down the street

We travelled from north London to try RapChar’s food and it did not disappoint! Food was incredible, full of flavour, the drinks were strong and the staff were lovely. Would defo recommend x

I booked through OpenTable stating it was my friends birthday, but staff were not aware. This is a small but lovely venue.The food was well cooked. My friend had lamb shank, and I had a fish platter (sea bass, king prawns) all was delicious. Loved the decor of the restaurant, it was compact and bijou! Downstairs has more a more lower lighting, more atmospheric great for couples. Great background music too, we had a lovely experience.

Service and food v. good. Owner needs to rethink layout of tables and chairs. When restaurant is full, very difficult for servers to maneouvre around tables & chairs. Also, be clear on patrons arrival the 90-120 minute timeframe for tables. We were in the middle of a conversation when we were politely told we needed to go as our table was needed for next patron.
