Wild Rye is a new addition to the culinary and cocktail experience at Brasada Ranch—defining Central Oregon’s high desert cuisine. Led by Executive Chef Karl Holl, every dish is intricately tied to the land, the season, and the lifestyle of the region, whether foraged from the surroundings, grown by Central Oregon farms, or philosophically connected to the desert.

Wild Rye is open to all – Brasada Ranch members and guests, and the general public. Everyone is invited to taste bold local flavors and enjoy a unique dining experience!

    Set against the sweeping beauty of Brasada Ranch and the breathtaking Cascade Mountains, The Harvest Dinner Series is a singular culinary experience led by Executive Chef Karl Holl. Each evening celebrates the season’s bounty—locally sourced ingredients prepared over an open spitfire, shared under expansive high desert skies. With the golden hour fading into starlight, guests are immersed in the sounds of live music and the magic of the Cascade mountain silhouettes. Wild Rye is proud to partner with an exceptional group of local purveyors to bring this vision to life. A portion of proceeds supports the High Desert Food & Farm Alliance. Reservations are required. Adults $75, Children (5-12) $45, + 20% service fee. Cancellations within 72 hours will be charged $50/person.

    Truly spectacular! I was seated by the manager, who was very accommodating and respectful, as well as having a great upbeat energy. The noise level was nothing overwhelming, and I'm rather sensitive to loud places. Nice music. The chef(s) knows what they're doing! The lamb was absolutely delicious, as well as the house made shirley temple. Afterwards, I was surprised with a divine dessert for my birthday, topped with a candle! Very good experience! Definitely recommend.

    We sat at the bar early in the evening and received excellent service. The cocktails were well made. The fried polenta and rolls were great starters. The shigoku oysters were delicious and the mignonette was perfect for them. For entrees, we had the halibut and the lamb shank. Both were very well prepared and the accompaniments were paired well. We had no room for dessert.

    The food - lamb shank and halibut, was incredible. Chef Karl has really created a delicious menu. Service- Trenton, Christen and Jayden, was exceptional. They know the menu and what goes into each dish. You cannot beat the view. Cannot wait day and to go back.

    We celebrated our anniversary last night at Wild Rye at Brasada Ranch. It was delicious! I had the halibut and it was beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. My husband ordered the $50 hamburger - it was huge and at least 5” high! The wedge salad was unusual and very tasty. We ordered the peanut butter mousse desert to share. So good! Great banjo artist played for us on top of all that!

    The featured cocktails were in tiny glasses. One delivered to another table was much larger than mine. Get a regular martini instead. The brie appetizer was so dumb. They whipped the brie and then formed it into a blob and supposedly browned that - couldn’t tell. And then buried it under herbs and nuts that destroyed the cheese flavor. What exactly is wrong with regular baked brie? We didn’t read the menu carefully enough i guess. The halibut entree was over cooked. Sinful to do that to a fine piece of seafood. Especially at $46. The crab/dumpling small plate had exactly one recognizable piece of Dungeness crab. And the “dumplings”? They were gnocchis. Let’s be honest. Will not go back.
