    My family and I always have to make sure we visit the Rainforest Cafe, from the outside the restaurant looks like a volcano, the inside looks like a rainforest and has animal animatronics and big aquariums of exotic fish. We of course have to get the Volcano dessert which is served with a sparkler which is pretty cool for the kiddos. The Rainforest Cafe in Galveston even has a water ride inside the restaurant that you can purchase a ticket for and ride while your waiting for your table or finish off your meal with a really cool water ride, they really went all out on it! I highly recommend this place to everyone, its a must stop for the family!

    We sat and waited for over 20 minutes before a server came to the table. The table that sat after us was served first. Our server wasn’t irritated with who knows what. She had a bad attitude and didn’t want to be there. Several waiters just walked by didn’t acknowledge us at all. When the waiter finally came to our table we went ahead and gave her our drink and food order at once. And again we didn’t see our waiter anymore. We finally saw her we asked for the check. When she handed the check she came right back to collect it back. ALL SERVERS there need to be retrained.

    Our waiter was so accommodating bringing the kids food soon as it was ready. The place was slammed and the kitchen was a bit behind. It is crazy noisy with tons of commotion in there, balloon clowns, photographers, and animated animals.

    I have been to the Galveston Rain Forest cafe several times prior and have never really cared for my food. I have always thought it was over- priced and honestly not that good. The kids begged to go on this trip and I did not have high expectations. I had the ribs, coconut shrimp and steak combo. The shrimp and ribs were absolutely delicious. The steak was left on the plate unfortunately, but everyone else at the table was very happy with their meal. I will be back but will not order that steak! I am happily surprised that the food was enjoyable and I did not feel "ripped off".
