Step into 1st floor RAILS Restaurant for a buzzy and relaxed dining experience. Expect a great modern British-French grill with succulent meat, fish and vegetable dishes served with sauces and sides, and the best moments from a Parisian brasserie menu, not to mention interiors.

Frenchie cocktails and digestifs top off the occasion from the adjoining Little Bar, wrapped in William Morris wallpaper dressed in eclectic art.

In addition, GNH Bar and Terrace, a bustling and welcoming space, blending British heritage with world influences welcomes you downstairs on the street level. The GNH Bar is open every day from 9am to 11pm.

Lovely spot! Kitchen was a bit slow but the food was fantastic and our waiter, Massimo, was just fabulous! Attentive, fun and added that extra sparkle to a great bday lunch. We'll be back.

This is a lovely restaurant at the heart of King’s Cross ..tastefully decorated and a lovely tranquil ambiance We were disappointed the set menu wasn’t available as the main a la carte had limited options for my daughter who is gluten intolerant . She had the feta rice salad which was mainly salad leaves with far too many kidney beans . However I had the crusted sea bass was was delicious The service was great attentive but not intrusive We would definitely eat here again …possibly before 6 to have more menu options

Spent a lovely afternoon having afternoon tea and cocktails at Rails. Perfect location and lovely environment. Food was wonderful and the service exceptional. We have been back here 4 times now and will continue to do so.

I have only been to Rails for the lovely breakfast. The lunch was not only delicious but beautifully presented. The service was top, attentive and professional, Massimo and colleagues were the best from the minute we arrived. The decor is very chic and new and the ambiance, peaceful and welcoming.

Arriving in town I wanted somewhere I felt I could relax and eat in my own . I was given a great table with view towards St Pancras. Very pleasant waitstaff, excellent carpaccio followed by sea bream. Very good cheeses. The noise levels were good - happy conversations but still able to think.

Overall very good experience in a lovely setting. We both had steaks which were well cooked & presented- service was generally good although they did not follow our request for a pause before serving the steaks. Good wine selection by the glass. Restaurant was not very busy , so noise levels were comfortable.
