Step into 1st floor RAILS Restaurant for a buzzy and relaxed dining experience. Expect a great modern British-French grill with succulent meat, fish and vegetable dishes served with sauces and sides, and the best moments from a Parisian brasserie menu, not to mention interiors.

Frenchie cocktails and digestifs top off the occasion from the adjoining Little Bar, wrapped in William Morris wallpaper dressed in eclectic art.

In addition, GNH Bar and Terrace, a bustling and welcoming space, blending British heritage with world influences welcomes you downstairs on the street level. The GNH Bar is open every day from 9am to 11pm.

What an absolute gem of a find in King's Cross. The service, food, drinks and ambience were all top notch. We ate from the set menu and as a gluten free diner, I could not believe the choice!!! This was our first visit but not our last. Thank you Rails

My second visit in as many weeks and enjoyed it as much as the first. Set menu is excellent value and food is good. Friendly, attentive service.

Beautiful surroundings, quiet, comfortable and elegant. Very good service at first from female waitstaff, until she finished her shift. Very good food unfortunately served on cold plates. After the main course the remaining male staff ignored us. Waited very long time for pudding menus. In the end we asked for them. Once puddings were delivered we were again ignored. Other diners were served normally, it was very quiet so they weren’t busy. We wanted the bill and tried to catch the waiters eye. No good. No “can i get you anything else? No “would you like the bill?” Eventually one waiter bustled up, plonked the bill on the table and said “we are closing”. Very strange way to run a restaurant, what is the management doing?

Wait staff were kind, the restaurant was very nice and calm. The food itself for afternoon tea was a bit of a disappointment. It was not a cheap meal and we expected more. We have had better afternoon teas before for less.

Lovely spot! Kitchen was a bit slow but the food was fantastic and our waiter, Massimo, was just fabulous! Attentive, fun and added that extra sparkle to a great bday lunch. We'll be back.
